I maintain that it's a bad choice. They had IMAX exclusivity. 

 

Sure, you couldn't get Zendaya and Tim to do the press tour and generate buzz, but idk, I think this would've made good money.

 

I really hope this gets rescheduled for Q1.

Variety is saying March 14. I wonder if they'll push back The Color Purple and Aquaman too dd

It's still way too early to predict anything but I hope JFAD retains its release date. If the strike continues until Q1/Q2, the industry will be in absolute shambles  

at least its confirmed that JFAD will remain WB’s only superhero flick next year

i doubt it’ll hinder JFAD since Dune was always more of a BTL contendee bar Best Director

I'm kinda hoping they'll just let Aquaman in that date and get the dceu over with. I'd hate for that trash to come out in the summer and somehow damage J:FAD.

 

Everything that has leaked about that film sounds like a MESS. And they haven't even released a teaser, so they could in fact move it to the summer.

It was WB's BP push the last time around. And I very much doubt they'll be able to squeeze two big studio films into BP.
