I'm a BalladGa fan but do we always have to demean her work in comparison to other artists? It's so silly. We can praise another artist's work without bashing her previous efforts. Miley is not "eating Gaga up" in any year sorry but that's the truth. Even Taylor Swift has had much better lyrical moments than Miley. Miley is the last person Gaga would look to for balladry inspiration. Miley isn't some Carole King lyricists. Gaga has accomplished so much in her 15 year career that she doesn't need to be chasing sounds from other artists just to please the GP. If she chooses to do so it will be on her own time. In 2023 I'd like to think most of us are aware of this by now.

Seriously like it's kind of embarrassing how some of these Gaga stans don't want her to be Gaga. Every day someone is in here moping about how they'd wish she'd release an album like XYZ artist, and no one (especially her) cares. No one is holding a gun to their head forcing them to stan, and Hold My Hand is better than 90% of pop ballads, too.

 

Like, why are they even talking about other artists in the LADY GAGA base to begin with.
