Um, no thanks. HMH works perfectly for TG given that it's a celebration of aviation. It needed a soaring ballad and she delivered, esp with her vocals and the bridge -> outro transition.

ARUTW is her best ballad and in her top 5 best songs ever but I don't think it fits Top Gun, at all. To be honest.

 

She understood and aced the assignment delivering a big 80s power ballad moment.
