We need fresh producers on LG7. Maybe DJWS and RedOne could each have a song or something but I don’t want them to be as heavily involved s as they were in the past.

DJWS is a DJ first and foremost, it's not weird that he's inactive as a producer in the industry because it's not his day job.

He’s not touring as a dj, nor did he tour in recent years. He released his latest solo dj project in 2013. He says he’s first and foremost a music producer, as a matter of fact his bio on his official page says „DJ WHITE SHADOW IS A GRAMMY AWARD WINNING MUSIC PRODUCER, MUSICIAN, SONGWRITER AND DJ”, so I would say his day job is not being a dj and it seems he’s not a producer either (his latest song with producing credits was released almost one year ago). He’s pretty much jobless music wise.

 

He’s some sort of music director of W Hotels since 2015 and this seems to be his main job, which further confirms he should stay out of LG7. He can work on those ARTPOP outtakes, sure.

Of course he would prioritise that in his bio as that's what he's most known for and what gives him value.  He's still a DJ act before a music producer, so there's nothing weird about him not being inactive in music recording.

If you mean he used to be a dj before he became a successful producer, then yes, you’re correct. Otherwise, no, as he’s barely doing relevant dj things for almost a decade now.

Sis, this music director thing is actually quite big and brings him a lot of cash. All I was saying was that he’s basically not working with releasing music as a producer or as a dj. That’s weird because he’s clearly talented.
