Doesn't seem to be that way. Its most likely going to be about barbie leaving "barbie land" and entering the "real world"  ugh. wish they could have gone the Legally Blonde route but it dont think its going that route

Grace implies that it deals with the difference between Barbieland where women are in charge, and the real world where men are largely in charge, and this causes Ken to feel like he’s missing out, and apparently test screenings say America Ferrera gives a speech about sexism.

I doubt Greta Gerwig who directed Lady Bird and Little Women would pass up such an obvious opportunity to use such a cultural icon like Barbie to make social commentary on women, society, politics, etc. 

 

I'm kinda hoping on like a comedy that's smart but silly because it kinda has to be silly by definition. But it is a difficult balance, we'll see what happens. 

 

But I think the marketing has been so flawless that I think a considerable opening is guaranteed. We'll see just how big.

this is just kinda dumb because Barbie has always lived in California. Not "Barbie Land"  her birthplace is Willows, Wisconsin  and she moved to Malibu as a Tween/Teen. She ran for USA president, she served the military, she's done it all... i -

Yeah, it seems like it’s ignoring most of the Barbie franchise (Midge and Allan are there though) which could work, but I think there are some odd creative choices.

The link is indeed fake: they took the billboard URL and changed some parts of it while keeping the main address, so obviously if you try to search for that a 404 error page will appear (which, by the way, would be for a deleted article, not for something that's waiting to be published like on YouTube). They made the mistake to use a "business/streaming" tag, which, if you browse on the site, is not where they put concerts/events news, it's a section for data analysis.

The Replay performance makes it feel like they are all part of a ******* cult. The synchronization between Gaga and the dancers is insane. The fact that I will never be able to experience it live or in HD makes me so mad.

Euros loved the first one and could frame the critical discussion around J:FáD in an invaluable way. If they premiere at Venice again, they'd definitely be angling for another major win imo (Gaga for Volpi and/or the Silver Lion for Todd).

Is Chromosome Film really coming to HBO?

I really wish GÁR was part of a power couple. It’s done amazing things for Jay-Z/Beyoncé, JLo/Ben Afflec, and Selena Gomez/Justin Bieber. Imagine if GÁR dated Leonardo DiCaprio (I know never gonna happen since she’s over 25) or someone relevant in the music industry. Her star power would go supernova.
