That was brilliant from an artist’s POV. Stripping away all the glam and doing what no one would’ve expected is exactly the Gaga so many claim to “want back”. It was a rockstar move. A “give no fucks” move. That’s the Gaga I’ve missed. 
 

And of course another standing ovation and the first full one of the night.

I absolutely loved this performance. The only thing is the weird transition to the first chorus cause it's one octave down.

Lovely performance and she sounded great. Clearly very last minute but that's expected with her running to rehearse from the JFAD set.

Right not even naatu naatu was getting a standing ovation at first.

Also with a last minute arrangement she stripped everything back and lived by her maxim that you can make any stage as intimate as a dive bar. The standing ovation 

I liked the idea, but I was this new version was more explosive like the original one.

I honestly love it, it was the total opposite of what I was expecting and that's the reason of why I love her, she's unpredictable.

we all were expecting fire, a plane on stage, her dress from the MV, big fan  a piano...and all she needed to do was her mic and her voice, she got a standing ovation  true artist.

I actually loved it  very intimate and her vocals were amazing

Honestly IMO it’s kinda gimmicky (?).. Like she had all that heavy make up and then she just took it all off for the performance? What’s the reason. I’d be all for it if she showed up with a suit and minimal make up for red carpet and then just performed like this. This just seems gimmicky and IMO it was not it.

Am I the only one who liked it? Y'all forgetting she only had a couple of hours to rehearse and it was a last minute thing, but it was still good imo. Her vocals are still great even with how tired she probably is.
