I think it could be a factor don't want to be overexposed, not to mention the song is not even frontrunner with the Indian song expected to win, charts wise the Oscar performance wouldn't have revived the song anyway, realistically she really didn't have much convenience to put JFAD on a break in order to prepare a performance that require time, stress, ecc.
