Noah Fence bit i don't like that version, mainly because of Xtina, she does too much sometimes.

I'm scared of Gaga method acting for Harley Quinn. That can be really dangerous.. I mean we all saw what happened to Heath Ledger when he used method acting for The Dark Knight... just dont want anything bad to happen, especially considering Gaga's  mental health issues in the past.

Because she wants to distance herself from the song. She won’t ever put in on the album, or perform the song ever again.

It’s going to be filmed using practical sets with maybe minimal green screen.

The first Joker film was heavily based off of Taxi Driver, and it was mostly fillmed on set and on site, the amount of VFX was probably just make up related. This time Todd's probably gonna rip off New York New York so it'll be more of the same. These are dramas with comic book characters, there's no need for full on green screen sets I don't know where you're getting this from.

Honestly, it's time for her to reclaim DWUW... It's her ******* song, not Piss Kelly's... rewrite it, re-record it, get Abel on it, and put it out on the 10th anniversary edition later this year.

I mean, the first Joker film obviously borrowed from the comics, and other Martin S films lmao, it wasn't a remake of Taxi Driver per se, but that was the backbone of the film. I feel like New York New York is gonna be the backbone of this one.

Why would she want to do ANYTHING to bring attention to this song again? She scrapped the video in 2013, she apologized it and removed it from streaming in 2019. Future ARTPOP pressings won’t have the song. She’s done everything possible to right this wrong. Recording it again would be a hypocritical move.

Honestly if DWUW was the lead it would have buried Roar, no question.

I don't think anyone's clear how deep R. Kelly's credit's go on the song. Apparently he's still credited on the solo version as well.

DWUW was so good and it apparently didn't have the feature til pretty late in it's creation which is why the solo version exists. The R Kelly lyrics also ignore the whole point of the song which is about the media trashing Gaga. 

 

Maybe it is best for her image to just forget it entirely but it's such a shame.

That's why I feel it would be such a slay if she reclaimed the song as her own and re-released it. Probably is best to just never bring it up again, but it's such a shame because it's such a great song with huge streaming potential. I almost feel like addressing it head-on is better than just ignoring its existence and sweeping it all under the rug.
