There's literally not a single actor who has been nominated to an Oscar everytime they did a movie, not even being nominated to the precursors as well, so I don't get why the bar for Gaga has always been put to the highest extreme. Gaga literally had people like Jane Campion one of the most respected person in the industry claiming she deserved to be nominate, I don't think her missing HOG nomination is taking away prestige from her name, she still got a second BAFTA nomination the second most important prestigious industry awards which none of the women nominated this year got and NYFCC which is the most prestigious critic circle award and one of the oldest, not even Di Caprio has one.
