According to Planet_Chromatica , Lady Gaga will release a new song in 2022 or in 2023

and it's called Hold My Hand and Hold My Hand (Where do you think you're groping) [Piano Version]

This is one of the best things that has happened on one of her tours :jonny4:

I wish I could've witnessed this tour live :dancehall3:

the Funny Girl revival that was rumored to star Gaga is getting mixed to negative reviews, and Beanie is getting dragged in almost every review

Gaga would have been great in the role, but the show has a lot of problems still so i’m glad it didn’t happen

tbh something new like The Nanny (which was rumored) would be perfect for her

And the "Soundtrack available on Interscope Records" :jonny3:

I wonder if the album will be added to her Spotify page (probably not since it's just one song)

May 6th would be great :chick1: C’mon Tom, you better make sure it’s spammed everywhere this following month

I saw it and tbh it was pretty cute overall, so I'm sure you won't be that disappointed. she's funny in the book scenes and you can tell what they were trying to do with it but vocally this really isn't the role for her

The way Hold My Hand will have the ability to repeat Shallow's reign (maybe to not as big of an extent) award wise if it's good and catches on is such a kii.

She could increase her lead as the woman with the most Grammys for Song Written for Visual Media. Golden Globe win would be easy, Written Media Grammy would be easy, Critics Choice Award win would be easy. :rip: The Oscar would be the biggest hurdle depending on who she's up against, but she'd put up a big fight and the Academy will be dying to get her back. :rip:

The fact that people say she moved to movies because "her music career is over" but her biggest successes over the past five years have all involved music she has written. :ahh:

somewhere, Lea Michele is sitting at her vanity, and is smiling

we still have Bruno to deal w

Kinda hope the other movie scraps it’s theatrical run so that song with Paul can be Emmy eligible instead

Are you referring to Bruno Mars or We Don't Talk About Bruno? :rip: :jonny:

If the latter, I get it'll be competition, but I think it'll be too old by the time the next Grammys come around to be a huge threat.

WDTAB. yea hopefully it’ll be old news by then, its already falling quick down the charts already

I’d like to see Gaga on Broadway…but at the same time I’m not sure it’s a wise career decision in the near future. Broadway is just far too niche in the broad scheme of things, and Gaga could be making albums, or starting in high profile films. Even a miniseries has like 1000x the reach of a Broadway show. A Broadway show is also far less lucrative than a Vegas residency and would be less appealing to a lot of casual fans.

It would probably have to be a big passion project for her to make it worth it; the right show, the right production, the right time, etc. I think the main problem more than anything would be her health; apparently Broadway is very, very demanding and I'm not sure she could keep up with the strict schedule.

she should just write something like Cyndi Lauper. Spend a few years working on something, don't star in it and reap the benefits for years to come

That would be pretty cool, but I'd love to see Gaga on stage. I feel like there's no way she wouldn't want to be on stage, it would just have to be a lot less intense. :jonny:

Broadway just isn’t a good idea. Star in actual movies that have broad appeal. I don’t really care about a Tony that much even.

It's very obvious she has future Broadway plans. She even talked about it recently.

And I say, good for you Gagz. Snatch that EGOT! :jonny3:

To be fair, her doing Broadway and winning a Tony for it would do wonders for her respect. Stage acting is much more difficult than film and writing a show would be unlike anything else she's done, it would push her pretty hard. And it goes without saying most stage actors and the film actors who pull off the cross to stage are the ones seen as "thespians", which would honestly be one of the things to finalize her transition into a proper actress.

And while it is niche, filmed productions have been big on streaming and I could see big names like Netflix hounding producers with offers.
