The dolby versions are not better and often ruin the vocals change my mind

Hold My Hand’s push was so confusing  like they released it abs kind of let it fend for itself for a month before the movie even came out and then let it sit there for a few more weeks before giving it any major playlisting push  

 

Like what was the point if they weren’t going to give it any coherent push? It’s by no means my favorite Gaga song or even close but I feel like with a release closer to the movie release + a larger play listing push all at once it def could’ve been a bigger hit. Instead they kind of let it fend for itself for no reason  maybe there’s some logic behind it but idk seems messy for no reason 

Government Hooker might have her best chorus ever and i will forever be disappointed the chorus was used only twice in the final song   It’s so amazing and catchy in every way

HMH release was a senseless mess.

 

I'm over it honestly, I'm fine with the song reaching 100M on Youtube and Spotify by the time of a possible Oscar nomination and that's all.

Her team is horrible, it's that simple.  The logic they follow is stuck in the age of iTunes/radio and they still cannot seem to understand streaming/playlisting.  I have no faith in her future release strategies unless they bring new and young people onto the team.  I also don't think this is Interscope's fault.  They know how to promote music on Spotify/AM, they do it every week for their other artists.  This is just an issue with Gaga and her team not wanting to give in to streaming payola.

I heard HMH twice on the radio this week and I honestly can't wait to hear her perform it live at the Oscars.  The verse melodies are so beautiful and calming.

The team that landed her the deal to make a song for the year's biggest blockbuster that will most likely end up in another Oscar nomination is horrible because they didn't pointlessly push the song to Spotify and Apple Music?  The logic. 

 

I don't get why this is so hard to understand, but maybe, just maybe, they never saw any point in pushing this song like an actual big single. They did the bare minimum because that's all it needed. This was not a lead single. This was not a huge hit-sounding song. It's literally a soundtrack song for a movie, and soundtrack songs rarely get any kind of promotion because the point is for the movie to do the promotion. What is it with fans wanting her and her team to waste money on things that are pointless? These meltdowns would make complete sense if we were talking about an album's lead single or any of its subsequent singles, but we're talking about a one-off soundtrack single. Do you really think a song like HMH had any chance of being a hit with payola? Really? Not even being in the year's biggest blockbuster was able to push it past top 50 on Billboard, but if the point is to make it into the Oscars, Billboard does not matter.

 

Stop needing validating from charting. Gaga is pushing 40 years old. That doesn't matter anymore and they're not going to focus on that anymore. Just accept it.
