I think Gaga has better relationships with other brands like Versace, Saint Laurent, Tom Ford, Celine, Valentino, etc. she is also a big supporter of smaller "indie" brands. I think Gaga wouldn't think she's reinventing fashion in a caution tape catsuit simply because she's been there, done that kinda gal. 

Balenciaga used to be one of the most iconic brand for haute couture in the past, like Dior, it remained inactive for many years losing popularity when the founder died and came back to life with Nicolas Ghesquière, which did an excellent job with the brand (they're still using his iconic motorbike bag design), then with his departure and the arrive of  Demna for sure the brand is benefitting commercially, it's becoming more popular but also it's becoming kind of cheap, the whole brand has became an edgy sporty luxury brand which is definitely far from Gaga kind of style and fashion. Also majority of their stuff is made in China which is not a good look for the prices they have contrary to other brands like Valentino who still made everything strictly in Italy.

The "made in China" thing is definitely not a good look. They moved production over there in 2017? I believe, when their shoes became more popular. I love their Triple S shoe because it's the most comfortable high end platform sneaker but I'll never buy Balenciaga unless it's on sale from previous season, because of the fact they strip the design of its luxury (using faux leather on their shoes now) and that they're made in china so their profit is a clean 98%

she better perform Hold My Hand on the tour. She can't expect Tom Cruise to do all the promo himself

Not true, only their sneakers and cheaper accessories are made in China.  From what I’ve seen, all of their clothing and more expensive accessories are made in Europe, mostly in Italy, France, and Portugal.  Still, imagine paying 1k for a sneaker made in China

The promo was done by a $1.2B grossing movie, sorry sis GP said NAUR to Hold My Hand. They want the hyperrock LG7 instead.

Yeah I'm referring exactly to the triple S shoes, because I've been tempted more times to buy them, but then I found out that initially they were made in Italy and with better quality materials, then they started to produced them in China with cheaper material and it was a big turn off for the amount of price they ask.

For a period also other stuff like the most popular t-shirts and items were made in China tho, they probably realize it wasn't a good look for the brand also because it's more easy for the replicas factories in China replicate them if the originals are made there, there's a lot of fake Balenciaga around also wore by influencers and people you think they can afford the original one properly for that reason I think.

Oh wow this Dolby Atmos thing is incredible.GH, Judas and some ARTPOP songs sound so good!

Okay putting all my thoughts on Born This Way’s Dolby Atmos version here:

Marry The Night: one of the weaker remasters. It’s in my top 5 Gaga songs but this version doesn’t make it pop too much. If you told me this was a demo version from 2010 I’d believe you.

BTW: we’ve had this version for a while. I like it but I think they butchered the chorus a lil biT

Government Hooker: 10/10 sounds so crisp and punchy  the ghost like effects are on crack towards the end

Judas: would be a 10/10 if they would fix the bridge. It has a demo vocals rn so it’s kinda weird but wow the synths and chorus GO OFF

Americano: the production sounds SO good. Garibay really popped off on this one wow. Very loud but so good

Hair: almost sounds like a demo? The way they mixed this version kinda muted a lot of the shinier aspects of the song. Idk if I like it or not. The ending sounds huge tho. Reminded me how much this song bangs live 

Scheiße: 10/10! banging! They really used the spatial audio to make the chorus sound HUGE

Bloody Mary: this song literally ate my ass thank you Gaga. The vocals sound amazing here.

BJAM: SOUNDS SO GOOD. The production and vocals are SO crisp

Bad Kids: my least favorite on the album and it sounds AMAZING here. The chorus and the bridge are both absolute highlights on this listen. Especially the chorus. The synths sound so much more 80s and it ties the song together so well.

Fashion of his Love: oh wow. It sounds SO clean and fresh? I never loved the way this song was produced but it stands out in a low key way 

Highway Unicorn: my least favorite so far. It’s not bad, but it’s not giving like the other tracks are. Definitely sounds the most like it was recorded on a tour bus.

HML: sounds insane. It’s like grittier and some how more dirty sounding. SO good

Electric Chapel: WHEW it’s a 10/10. 
The Queen: SO GOOD. How anyone can not love this song is beyond me. The guitars and bells sound so crystal clear

Y&I: kinda a mess tbh. The mixing needs work 

TEOG: SO GOOD. It sounds like it’s being played in a stadium. They really went out with a bang on this one.
