these numbers are really quite interesting. They’re not influenced by playlists, I guess the pre releases have the belasco impact but I’d say they indicate down to you, magic and even skip this part should be in contention for singles. Very curious. 

 

With playlisting, rock Hudson will have biggest by a distance today on Spotify, but these are quite interesting numbers…

She did the beginning a cappella and had to restart like 3 times cause she kept crying.  

do we think we’ll even get a proper single? seems like kelly is comfortable just putting the music out there. like a song that’s sent to radio/given a music video/live performances. it’s crazy because normally for MOL/Xmas music, she’s doing live performances everywhere. i realize the strike is affecting things, but the fact there’s been only one televised performance of a song (and on her show!) is heinous.

 

tl:dr: i hope we get an actual single. DTY and then My Mistake would be my preference. I’d also love Chemistry or Magic as a third/final single.

Maybe she's saving it to promote the release of the full concert 

Y'all, me is #18 on iTunes. Maybe we are all missing something. It has been consistently climbing ever since the viral flash mob performance. And now it's out pacing the more recently pushed single like lighthouse and rock Hudson on iTunes. Interesting.

The strike is affecting virtually everywhere. There's no escaping it unless you're already in mid-season and already pre-planned the performances; Kelly would already refuse to perform in solidarity with the writers anyway.

It has always done well on iTunes but sadly has appalling streaming dailies. Unfortunately iTunes is worthless nowadays, probably got about 50 sales since album, which is equivalent to 7,500 premium streams

She really needs to make a live album of the Belasco performances available.

 

I love the studio album immensely but her live performances is what absolutely sells the songs and instrumentally superior to the album production.

Kelly’s residency seems to be doing better than the other ones at the same theatre that happen before hers (Miranda lambert, Jeff Dunham, Keith urban) so it will be curious to see what their shows look like once they happen (apparently lots of vegas tickets are last minute)

My Mistake was probably the most memorable out of the not previously released ones for me. The chorus sounds so classic and familiar in a good way.

I stand by that fkoh + the remix is her easiest song to push for some attention with the GP 

It's super dope seeing more reaction videos to her music now compared to MoL.

 

Maybe it has more to do with her consistently being in the spotlight.

I actually also think it was helpful that they released music every week for so many weeks. It kept her in people's mind and reminded them she has new music of her own
