If the music wasn't viable enough on a commercial scale, there's no way Hilary would have landed herself another major label recording deal. The author of the video is completely misinformed and should not be voicing an opinion on music she hasn't heard yet. 

Why would the label sign her if they dont like her music atp? Doesn't add up. Gonna take that with a grain of salt only.

it's possible that Atlantic doesn't want to go in this direction 100%, and if that was the case, it'll be another This Heart -> BIBO situation. some songs will make it but the label will want something more current.

The nostalgic approach is proving to be successful given the traction the anniversary post for Metamorphosis sparked in response. The new music is going to be fresh and fun and her team played their cards right by announcing her new recording deal and docuseries the week proceeding the anniversary acknowledgment.

True, she has learned for sure.

 

but then again this is Atlantic we're talking about. they held back Charli XCX for an entire decade trying to chase a hit but ironically when they let her do her thing, she found success. I wouldn't be surprised if this is what's going on.

I don't think there's any issues between Hilary and Atlantic right now. That wouldn't make sense. We shouldn't take that tiktok video seriously 

Everything feels so fragile when it comes to her and the music that any news unsettles us hahahahahahahahaha

Marketing wise I think the nostalgia is proving to be a great way to build hype. I trust that the music itself won't be derivative. I honestly can't see her doing pop/rock again. 

 

I think she's gonna give us something current with the catchy hooks we need.  Production wise I'm hoping it's absolutely immaculate. I can see her being inspired by Robyn's Honey and exploring that soundscape, Ever Again is amazing

her cashing on nostalgia is the best move, it's the right way to put her out there again to reconnect with the fans she might've lost in the past 10-17 years after dignity/bibo and get them on track and also, this helps her solidify her legend status to new generations – she always used to pay dust to her music career when in fact she's the reason why hollywood records was saved and the reason why the next generation of disney girlies happened. she can continue the anniversaries and cute throwbacks before she announces something, it's creating hype! 

I love that hilaryduff.hq is quite consistent in posting on IG. But…we kinda need some fresh updates on the new music atp. Like, a snippet or more BTS studio pics would be more fun and hopeful. But hey, trust the process I guess.

I thought about this yesterday when they posted that come clean video. They should post more pictures of that studio session they are using for the comeback. Or even a muted video with her recording in front of the mic. 
 

I cute q&a would be fun too like the ones below 60 did, but guess they're are saving that to the docuseries.

Is her team doing much for her on TikTok? I'm not on the app to follow along on the social media journey, but I think building a presence for her on that particular platform will be beneficial once the new music rolls out.

I think posts will be coming of that nature, but the contract she signed for the docuseries probably heavily limits what her team is able to post and when it can be posted.

I wonder if Hilary will announce her comeback single on her birthday 

 

she will also be sharing her commentary on Hilary duff as she posted about the album on her instagram story 

 

I'm starting to think the docu series will be a deep dive into each era

 

i remember I had the deluxe version of dignity which came with a dvd of all her music videos 

 

she also talked about each music video 

 

so I imagine the docuseries will be like that expect she will talk about each album 

Guys, I think this era will be EPIC.
