She is taking over all the Y2K pop playlist what hold up, the industry is shaking. She actually gonna get real promotion this era?! Look at Y2K pop, they said a Hilary Duff renaissance is upon us!

I'm so curious to know if she helped co-wrote the comeback single and/or any other song on the record.

I think she's definitely contributed to the writing process in general. I wish we could see the lyrics on her phone from one of the photos published yesterday as it looked very wordy.

 

I also hope she will own her master recordings moving forward and Atlantic will simply have the licensing rights to the new music.

People need to realize, in the last few years, Hilary has really taken the reigns of her career both as a businesswoman and creatively. 
 

She earned consistent praise from the cast and crew on HIMYF for how she developed a safe and fostering environment. She is set to start and executive produce Pretty Ugly as well.

 

She's (finally) developed a successful business venture with Below 60 in which she has been part of the process from it's humble beginnings to where it's at now (QVC even picked it up)!

 

She's not going backwards with this record deal. She wouldn't sign on to anything she didn't absolutely agree with. Even at the early stages of BIBO we saw glimpses of this Hilary when she co-wrote and recorded an album worth of demos to shop around before landing the deal with RCA. And when her exactly vision didn't pan out, she became disengaged.

I can imagined she and Chad Michael Murray in her first MV…

Yeah i hope you're right. Maybe the reason why she let BIBO tank was because the label meddled too much with the This Heart project. I think it was for the best but I can understand why she stopped caring. I mean she did scrap most of the project only for the album to underperform (in her eyes)

New show, new music.. We really won!!! God always rewards his strongest and most patient soldiers :')

 

She's always had a good ear for music and been ahead of trends so whatever genre she goes with, it's going to be good.

I was checking, and if she manages to get a Top 5 on the Billboard 200, she would join Miley and Selena as the Disney girls with all their albums in the Top 5. Could it be possible?

but we've also been in a looong losing streak. Music comeback DOA with Chasing the Sun, BIBO abandoned, Lizzie getting canceled, HIMYF getting canceled… we're really due for a big moment

GDI  thanks for telling me! Once my UO copy arrives, if its black I'll get the Disney one as well, this is weird, maybe a manufacturing error?

I don't know, but I've seen some pics online and in fact the vinyl looks black

Yeah it seems like it's most likely to be a manufacturing error if both sites are promiting it as a swirl and some are getting just black :/

Swirl or not, I'm so glad we got Best Of! I was sure we'd never finish the complete album set, now it won't bother me

I've missed the BIBO release  now I can't find it anywhere to be delivered in Italy (yeah maybe I found one but the price is too high)

Oh no  I'm sorry you missed it. It's crazy how expensive they sell at now, just saw one going for $100 USD. Hopefully prices drop and you can get a copy, wish I had an extra one, I hate when I miss out on stuff esp. from our girl!

I think this comeback announcement is getting more buzz than the one in 2014—my TikTok and my feed are overflowing with the news. I believe TikTok will be a big help for their next steps.
