Apparently he’s performing a live visual album written by Eric Roth on an ice rink (the structure is already built in the Coachella stage).

I am going to give Frank some grace but apparently, he arrived 30 minutes late and I thought the set was good from what I could hear, his vocals have improved. 

Woke up at 6 am just for the show to start an hour late

I actually liked the new mix on White Ferrari even though I prefer the original

There were some really cool arrangements but the set was boring overall, he's just not the type who shines as a festival headliner I fear. And the tragic audience clearly didn't help.

i love his music down, but his disregard for his fans is kind of a turn off. being almost an hour late to your first performance in years and turning the coachella livestream off for no apparent reason. 

 

i understand he has had a difficult few years, but he should also be aware of how his actions effect others especially being a headliner at a festival many people paid a lot of money for. if you’re not fully up for that commitment don’t do it. regardless, the set was nice. hopefully he comes on time next week.

ngl I feel like I had more fun trying to find livestreams on the Frank Ocean subreddit (though they’re annoying most of the time ) than the actual set

 

I just know he’s gonna get dragged for this 

 

I just wanna know the tea behind his set  i kinda felt like he wasn’t ready to perform at all but he was probably contractually obligated since he was booked for 2020

I’m well aware, trust me. 
 

That has nothing to do with the topic at hand. Most fans have given him grace about album release dates and delays given the circumstances. This was something else. 

well that was something...maybe he wasn't fully ready for headlining coachella but I do feel like people are going to switch on him.
