Scarlet 2 is so ******* good 

I would really love for this era to actually start anytime soon.  

At least we've been reassured that the music was good (although that was never really an issue with her) but it's mainly... everything surrounding the music that needs to be tied up and polished this time around. Her teasing this album through at least 3 different tracklist variations throughout the year before dropping off the face of the earth to actually finish it was a messy ass idea to say the least fff.  Hopefully her team is on IT this time around because this needs to be a bounce back / comeback moment for her and ultimately get her name on everyone's minds again.

From the vocal production of her rapping to her backing ad-libs (which might still be Doja), to the music team:

Earl On The Beat & Jean Baptiste ("Paint The Town Red", "Agora Hills", "Can't Wait", "Shutcho").

You have such a good ear lol. But yeah, this song always gave me Scarlet vibes. I wonder if Doja co-writes/ghostwrites for other artists on the low.

We already know N.H.I.E. for 21 Savage was originally for Scarlet as well (and he kept her vocals/one of her verses on), so I definitely believe some other rappers have Doja songs but wrote their own verses / hooks to avoid their artistic integrity being questioned. 

 

 

Despite the mic problems she killed the set! Love the styling + she performed Boss ***** for the first time ever(?) !!

I forced my boyfriend to listen to a Doja playlist I made on the way to the Kesha concert Sunday night. He hated it. He only likes So High and some of The Amala album tracks. He couldn't connect with commercial Doja at ALL.
