It definitely deserved better, in my opinion. Even though its numbers are still insane, some ppl still act like it was a flop but it definitely wasn't at all by any metric.

Wow, happy 5 years to HTE! This album is the definition of a sleeper smash. Love artists who are capable of making timeless albums that enhance their discography. I remember how everyone thought her career was going to be over just for the album to have 8B+ streams on Spotify alone with multiple hits, and for her career to reach an even higher high years later.

Even though HMHAS has become my favorite album ever, I've always been saying that HTE is more innovative and diverse. It's also her best album lyrically imo.

They also said they really space out the timing from when they start to finish an album now compared to previously. Still don't know if this helps us guess how close we are, especially since they said they just wrote something. But who knows.

He says they planned to take a year to make BE4. Last year Billie mentioned focusing on the album right after HMHAS tour, which ended last November. So I think they are planning to finish the album in November or December.

Everything lines up with a Q1 or Q2 2027 album release.

My prediction is Billie has been slowly progressing BE4 throughout the summer (obviously not as fast as earlier in the year due to TBJ) and will eventually start wrapping up in September/October, likely finish by November/early December. Mastering in very late 2026 or very early 2027, and March-April release.
