Lemonade had too many poems and spoken words that annoyed me a lot. The only thing i want from the visuals this era is for her to just let the music flow with the music with no weird interruptions. I'm all for pure art but an album like Renaissance is pure dance and fun, let's not go complicate matters too much. I want fashion, looks, dance and music on these visuals, that's it.

Even for a visual album? I feel like it's nice for it to be a distinguished piece of work from the album.

Some of favourite moments from Lemonsde were the interludes like the openning of Hold Up. And it added a lot of depth to the album.

When I first heard the Un-American line in I'm that Girl, I immediately thought that's she's going to need visuals to elaborate on that lol. I presume she's embodying the perspective of queer folk whe  she sings that.

I think this is bound to be her first multi hit era (chart wise) since I Am...

Either Cuff it or Alien Superstar is going too 10 when these visuals drop

This is definitely one of the most intriguing lyrics on the album. When I first heard it I was so confused and 2 weeks later I’m still not sure what she means by that.

To be proud of your blackness in America 2022 is inherently unAmerican, going against the many institutions that hold the people down and have done so historically. But yes, I also agree that it speaks to queerness, both of these ideas shine throughout Ren

Screaming because why would they lie like that :bibliahh:or maybe it was a body double?

she's black. and female. in america being both of those things is frowned upon (BLM / ROE v WADE overturned) so she calls herself unAmerican. Its goes along with the "voting out 45" line in ENERGY.

Without airplay building, they probably won’t. That’s why she needs to pick a new single

Makes sense, thanks. :heart2:

1. I better see some ass shaking in the Church Girl video

2. AHAP better have nasty choreo

3. If she doesn’t vogue for Pure/Honey she’s over

That is all:giraffe:

Yeah I can see it referring to her blackness but as far as sentiments in the album go its still one line thats doesn't immediately click in my mind and hope the visuals give it that extra context

4. SNAP at the end of Heated, I want full out choreo like she does with Mine on tour.

I wonder if Grace Jones will appear in the video. If she does you just know it’s going to be sickening.

Yup.

I want Heated's music video to be like Crazy in Love. C'mon give me hot summer anthem!

I definitely want choreography, but I’d be more impressed and I think it would be somewhat refreshing if the visuals were way less expected. I kind of wouldn’t mind some abstract, cinematic style cuts. Maybe some archival videos to show historical context, scenes that feel more like a film or self recorded video, darker themes, etc.

Hopefully

She walks into a dim lit room for AHAP, she snorts a line of coke off of Jay’s d*ck, and then changes into a rythm nation dance break

I have a strong feeling the visuals will flow into one another as she walks through different doors, it definitley looks like it’s taking place in a hotel suite of some sort. The way everything about this era is so cohesive musically and visually phew I love her:jonny5:

I saw a theory she's fantasizing about a different world during the pandemic. We'll see.

I want the shiny horse to be animated. The guy who did the billboard visualizara could execute it.
