  • It was the best concert of my life, bar none. Idc!    It was extraordinary, it was ineffable.  I knew I loved it based on the videos but I... Hey I don't know.    Best moment

I know this award is a joke but the point is, she has cemented herself in history with the likes of Whitney and Lauryn. And on top of that she won an award for a genre that completely ridiculed and ex

Right, YT is far more accessible to everybody. If it does come out on Netflix I hope it's not one of those BIK situations where we wait a year for her to post 3 of the videos on YT. And this is coming from someone who hasn't cancelled their Netflix subscription yet :deadbanana2:

she will absolutely do what she did for BIK and release videos for the singles on youtube. ALREADY premiered with the film. BREAK MY SOUL will probably be the same case here.

whichever they decide is the next single (Summer Renaissance based on what was sent to radio, or even IM THAT GIRL since we got a teaser) then they'll post that video as well, like when BROWN SKIN GIRL became a single.

Let’s let ha drop it on Netflix and raise their subscriptions for some cute acclaim. :WAP:

Those visuals :jonny5:

WAIT because I already have a theory of what the concept/narrative of the visual is going to be from the teaser :cupid:

Am I being delusional or are some of the shots overlaid to make it seem like ones an imagination and ones real life? Like the visuals of her leaving the house in everyday wear vs the glamour shot. Also her walking into the kitchen being overlaid with her walking into the club in the glamour look? Is the concept her imagining an extravagant dance party/visuals whilst she’s stuck at home in lockdown potentially?

Am I the only disappointed… I feel like I had really high expectations (my own vision of what the song’s video could’ve looked like) and the teaser seemed really mundane (she looks gorgeous but it’s giving elevated Why Don’t You Love Me/Pretty Hurts). I wanted green screens, effects, dancers, something mystical, otherworldly, etc. I’m sure she has a vision and I’ll gag over the other stuff but :chick2:

yes this is the theory most ppl are going with. there's a clear lockdown/fantasy/escape theme

I think it’s just a teaser. The Lemonade teaser was underwhelming compared to the full length.

I do think the teaser could have been better but she really didn’t show anything which is kind of the point.

I get what you mean, but this is only a teaser and its showing very little of the film. she's never going to give you the full vision off the bat. i think this is just a teaser for us to get clues about the film's narrative, which most ppl have picked up on already

I'm more disappointed by it being confusing as to what she's teasing and there being no release date. hopefully we get a formal announcement soon like we did for other things this era

Those kinda videos don’t age well imo.

I think you should hold off on making judgments. Keep in mind, the only thing we really saw in terms of the collage were up close portrait shots (various outfits) which were purposefully front facing shots used for effect and just to give you a taste. We have no idea how expansive the visuals are.

Also I’m absolutely convinced this teaser was thought out and is not a video she was prepared to create this as a teaser in between the photo shoots.

Girl you didn't even see the visuals yet :deadbanana4: How can you be disappointed? Probably that's not even the video for ITG, like sis just wait a bit more before being disappointed, no?

Oh I hadn’t seen that, well I’m glad that I’m not being delusional then and other people also picked up that vibe :dies:

You got all that from just the teaser lol, I'm pretty sure she has a little for everybody on the album.

But as @Shelter pointed out those videos don't age so well all the time. Just look at Break Free by Ariana Grande, which was ugly on arrival and has only gotten uglier since.

I like Beyoncé's video style.

I have my theory and i hope i'm right. 3 genres aka ''showing white artists how to do these genres''

Act I- Renaissance aka show Gaga what should be doing but cant.

Act II- Soul-country aka show Taylor Swift what she thinks she's been doing.

Act III - Winter vibes/Fall mix of Rock, R&B aka Show Adele what 30 should have sounded like.

LMAO! Sorry couldn't help myself.

:deadbanana2:

Well most genres were originally made by Black icons.

The early disappointment? :deadbanana2:

I mean this is only part 1 of 3. Hopefully you like something.

That teaser might not even be part of the ITG video. It could be something they put together just for the purpose of a teaser. Like the BMS video teaser. That obviously isn’t going to be the MV.

In fact I’m certain it’s not the final edit as I don’t think all the looks from the MVs will be part of it. They did that just to give us an early preview.

I'm pretty confident that's not the ITG video.  It was intentionally shot to be a teaser.

Pretty sure it is. Some of the edits are from the other videos though
