DC > TLC > SG in monthly listeners. DC is never below those 2 groups. DC has the most songs over 500 million (2) and 100 million (10+) SG and TLC have 4. 
 

In TLC's defense they've had no promo and their group died when Lisa did in 2001. SG had multiple reunion tours and Olympic performance. DC has had a Super Bowl and Coachella performance. Beyoncés longevity clearly carries a bulk of DCs longevity too. DC and TLC has the most albums, SGs were short lived but a massive peak. 

I would also say that DC are on more playlists overall and that Spotify is bigger in USA where DC are more prominent too. SG are mostly on UK based playlists... but yes Beyonce being so active and constantly also incorporating DC music in her catalogue helps a lot...

Ever since it became all the more clearer to me that there is a huge difference between INTERNET and REAL LIFE...Beyonce can do whatever she wants in life and not give AF.

 

The 'viral' tweets will never translate to real life cause stadiums will still be packed.

 

Its pretty clear she knows that now and living a good ass life for it.

 

Those that need to go touch grass should find a field.

absolutely u cant take what these ppl say seriously. 

DC is the biggest girl group of all time for sure. They have the most stacked resume and their impact is the most long-lasting at this point. Spice Girls may have had a bigger peak but it was short lived and DC have since surpassed them. If both groups were to tour in 2025, the DC tour would sweep. 

dc remains one of the best girl groups ever. if we focus on stats and such. 

she's easily the most criticised MPG, it's kinda crazy

I also think this is sort of her objective - getting people to think and talk about what it means to be American, or reclaim nationalist iconography. Especially when that country has consistently oppressed you, your people, other minorities, and has pursued decades of violent and abhorrent foreign policy. 
 

Sometimes I think she's not even saying "I'm proud to be an American" it's more like "I'm American, but what does that mean?"
