I think the truth is somewhere in the middle? 

 

I don't believe she's being astroturfed, but I think she is an easy target for the political right because everything about her is anathema to right wing values.  On top of that, you have a vocal portion of her own community that wants to see her fail, and on top of THAT, you have casual racists and stans of other artists who feed into the negative narratives around her.

 

Most of it is just noise, and it's louder now more than ever because of our echo chambers and because a lot of people are deeply unhappy right now.  It feels like the whole world is in some state of collective psychosis, and honestly it's terrifying far beyond Beyonce.

Beyoncé is obviously a target for the right wing. Because she's a Black woman & powerful.

 

But I do not believe any conspiracy saying she's being targeted specifically by some nebulous forces behind the scenes. She's just getting hate at a level that seems a lot to y'all because you read Beyoncé comments section and you read what people say about her. And she is one of the biggest celebrities alive. But trust, these fools are out here hating and "astroturfing" everyone that doesn't look and sound like them.

since i'm going to the second night of the tour, this will be the first time i'm going to actively not look anything tour related (except the setlist). but visuals and all that, i want it to be a surprise.

When I tell you I literally pissed myself when that Ring the Alarm segment came on during FWT where she's whipping around and it's so precise because I didn't know about it. Phew, a moment most pleasing to me

that's how it usually goes for me too. the show's are always in the middle or near the end so its so hard to avoid spoilers so i just cave and watch them all lol. but since this is the second show, 3 days apart from opening night, i'm going to make a real effort to avoid them. i just want to know the setlist, that's all. visuals i want a complete surprise.

i'm ready for legend to leave me SHOCKED. i also think this tour will be visually her best to date, i just feel it.

is it the California syndrome? we're always the last-ish shows of the tour (for most artists).

 

which is why I'm so excited to see opening night this time. going in fully blind to a bey show... I hope I don't pass out or something

i'm from toronto diva. i'm going to be flying in for this tour. but our dates here are either smack in the middle of the tour or near the end just depending on how an artist is touring. i am excited to go in blind too, it will be a new experience! i've never had the self control to actually do it. 

 

you're going to have the time of your life, you are going to be the first to experience legend on this tour.

Well, yes.. This has been my point the last two pages along with believing that there is astroturfing going on. We can all agree to disagree on this, because it will just become more apparent over time.

but Gaga is her fave and that's okay. Hope she enjoys performing in front of 2 people.

I mean Honey doesnt make sense at all for a Cowboy Carter Tour. She fits Gaga way more, so good for ha!

 

CC Tour will be way more like Formation - lots of black dancers to rub it inti white peoples faces that black people can do Country and do it well

I'm glad the dancers from the RWT are getting shine and opportunities, that is the whole point. We don't need Katy and Taylor level drama over dancers
