also, this really does sound like her, and it's the most plausible explanation. that's probably why the RWT film is not on streaming and why she wasn't gonna do it in the first place 

 

and it means that there's not going to be a tour for COWBOY CARTER and that she's going straight to act iii. the upcoming tour will have songs from all three acts. i expect act iii in the next couple of months

There are visuals for CC but the source doesn't know whether they're in the same form as the Ren visuals

im so over this era can we skip to act iii or the tour.

This further makes me believe she's dropping Act III soon. I could fully see her performing a new single for it next week, with it immediately dropping on streaming right after. With Act III dropping in Jan or Feb. 
 

Because like I said, something has to be coming after the performance. I would genuinely shocked if she didn't capitalize on the moment. 

If CC was planned to be out first, I guess the lyric "you're my Renaissance" was meant to be a teaser for the next album title, and if Renaissance was meant to be the second album, then I guess… act iii's title is hidden somewhere in Renaissance.

 I'm kinda sad to hear that she regret her decision of dropping renaissance first… I'm kinda curious how she'll move forward with the visuals for all three acts now. I don't want the half time to have anything act iii related. Cc deserve its own spotlight. Rennie got an entire tour and film…and with CC being the least popular of the two acts so far, it deserves its shine.  
 

I think she should drop CC visuals(if there's any) immediately after Super Bowl.. and the visuals for act iii should drop the same time as the album. ATP renny visuals is just an outlier… she could drop it on its 5th anniversary or something

Someone mentioned an idea that she could drop CC visuals after the halftime, then the Renaissance visuals shortly after. This would make sense imo as it puts things 'back on track' since the story supposedly starts with CC then moves into Rennie.

I don't know about retiring after Act iii, I see her taking a long break and coming back with another album years from now.

How does the Renaissance Tour fit into all of this though? Production on this must've started years ago, and it's so visually distinct to that album it makes me wonder whether she actually planned to tour the supposed first act "Cowboy Carter" in the first place. Then at the same time the booked venues in Europe pretty much scream "last minute" to me. Tottenham Stadium? No shows in Italy, Berlin, Munich and Madrid? Only one night at Stade de France?

one of my concerns in 2013-2019 was she stopped making 'fun' music. granted she wasnt emotionally there to make fun music but she always kept a balance. her transition into doing more niche storytelling, personal story, and visual productions def benefitted her legacy. but there wasn't anything light/fun from her since 4 that was platable for the avg listener. 

 

i said that to say – renaissance was needed and the perfect first act. her return to music with something fun and energetic made the era + tour more powerful.
