I have a theory as to why she doesn't do videos and perform as much.  It may be the  blunt I just smoked and sis could be the lazy, ticket hungry **** you think she is, but hear me out lol. 
 

I think Beyoncé's peers like her because she's nice and friendly and a great person, but I think they're very intimidated by her beauty and talent and thus don't show up for her during award season…ie AOTY… just to spite.  I can only imagine how exhausting it must be for some of the R&B and pop girls…and even the guys … to have to perform next to her at an awards show…or on the same late night talk show the following week… every album be a masterclass in overachieving and really great quality, award-winning material.  Think Coachella since her performance!  
 

To make herself less threatening among her

peer group I think she may have stopped competing.  Not on the charts, not at award shows, not at all.   I think she hopes she'll get more votes that way.  That's why she can't say her thought process either. 
 

 

Or she hates hive. 
 

Very few female colleagues like her IG posts and even fewer commented on her hair post lol.  They are ALL very supportive of Kelly and each other tho.  Like it's obviously a disparity. 
 

And her husband is a billionaire and she has a pretty pristine image compared to…..  like the hate is real and she's sensitive about her ****.

You know looking back, it's kind of bad faith that an indie artist continues getting compared to people who are mass releasing 50 editions of their album and maximizing every commercial front as a way to diminish her accomplishments. This lady has released one cover for sale and it ain't even the right one.

I think she's just becoming more and more insecure (see: sunglasses) and she doesn't want to be seen as trying too hard in case she fails/flops.

Well Beyonce very obviously doesn't run her own IG and doesn't follow anyone back so I don't know why they'd bother commenting into the void. Kelly at least gives the illusion she runs her own and probably does sometimes

Tbh, i think this is exactly how she wants it to go. Remember how she said she didn't expect Renaissance to be this big and actually changing plans because of it? She expected short eras for the trilogy and probably just wanted to do a trilogy tour. Seeing how CC is doing and how they are treating the album, they might as well release act 3 this November 

 

(Btw, I find it absolutely stupid to act this way, but it is what it is)

I was checking Dua Lipa's numbers on Spotify for her latest album and yeah we need to cut Beyoncé some slack right now. The fact that Dua Lipa is the artist that they should compare Taylor Swift's with because she an active pop star while Beyoncé has a 25+ years career and is basically an indie artist now but still pulling more streaming numbers than Dua Lipa is crazy.

she doesnt perform for free. its that simple.

 

no more free handouts to shows that use her for ratings. nobody gets to see her do her thing for free anymore.

I cant blame her for this one because she has invested YEARS in her craft. She can put conditions on her performances if she wants now. I just want her to find a balance with the visuals again. I dont think she needs to give those lame award shows or talk shows any free performances ever again tbh.

regarding the no more free beyoncé performances thing, i'm pretty sure her losing the Oscar for Be Alive was the final nail in the coffin. she was obviously already on her way out of award show performances and free gigs anyway (since she birthed the twins at least) but i'm kinda convinced she wouldn't have cut them out entirely had she won 

 

same for the grammies, i'm sure we'd still get some of those performances had lemonade won aoty.

I would like her to do a live accoustic set somewhere and put it on her youtube page. If that's the only official performance for this era i would take it. It would even promote her coming tour and get people even more excited for the live cowboy carter performances.
