This is what I was thinking.. Just placing posters and billboards at random places is not going to sell the album or make people stream it.

like just one look at legion tweeting every single poster is just so… it's obvious they really think this does anything for her albums and is a worthy replacement for performances, music videos or appearances in general  

 

wrdgaf about your stupid posters and websites we want visuals and a live performance ffs, or any other (useful) acknowledgement of your new album 

I don't mind Cowboy Carter signage being put up but the Been Country ones are crazy  Even if some random person walking by does decide to check it out (doubtful), they're gonna find a website with 12 random pics, some of which are instruments and some of which are just text

I can't believe how we all moved when beencountry.com made it's debut. After a promising start this era, she is back to training us not to take her seriously.

At some point during the Renaissance era they gave up and didn't post for like 5 months  I'm sure that's coming

I wish she would have been #1 for a second week in a row. Should have been effortless considering the margin. I, like many of you, am not lifting a single finger or paying another coin with the hope it will get her the second consecutive week.

 

I will be buying the standard edition Friday, but even that should have been available this week.

I don't know if this was shared here yet but I just listened to it and it's so good. They made some connections that never even occured to me, like how she's singing in Italian on DAUGHTER and then it segues into SPAGHETTI. Plus lots of great music history. She wasn't joking when she said she dug DEEP into the musical archive.

The standard edition? The same vinyl/cd that was available on B's websites is going to stores on Friday. We'll probably get an expensive collector's edition in a few weeks/months like with RENAISSANCE.

Imagine going into the recording Studio, recording Mine feat. Drake at the height of his popularity, 6 Inch during the rise of The Weekend, recording songs like Heated, Alien Superstar, Bodyguard, 2 Most Wanted, seeing their reception, and doing absolutely and utterly NOTHING with these tracks.
