To be honest I do find it very strange how the aesthetics for this seem rather undercooked compared to Renaissance. No booklet and the photos she did release are very simplistic and were clearly done very recently. 
 

The Renaissance booklet is clearly from the visuals so really makes you wonder what gives?

Those reshoots presented as still from the visuals…when they obviously could've used actual stills since the visuals are still not out! Not us really being the visual all along and just won't accept it🤣🤣❗️

 

I kid, but to your point- I honestly think her team and she put out waaayyyy too much concerning the visuals, without even giving much. Too many leaks of video shoots, the clique bait and the teaser, plus the album packaging and era aesthetic were consumed by the visual component that they knew they were purposely releasing 1-3 years later. 
 

The hand full of ppl who worked on which ever act visuals speaking on them without a clear time frame of release and the countless theories running wild, boosted by the half assed 'KNTY NEWS', that lead to nothing, when they knew it aligned more with the visuals than the concert film- the era became more about visuals (and the tour) than the actual album, since that was all we had. 
 

To me, it just makes more sense to not present anything more than the idea that they exist. The last minute photo shoot is simple, compared to her last packaging, but I wouldn't want to fuel that fire when this album is doing better (sales; white America).

I was shocked that the vinyl didn't have a booklet or anything. 

 

Do you guys think she kind of rush released this?  Like the Superbowl opportunity arose and she took it?  I can't imagine she was sitting on this date for a year now.  IDK, it's one of her sloppier releases.  The Renaissance vinyl was perfection.  This vinyl is a mess.  My white vinyl has black smudges all over it  

 

I will say I'm not bothered by the lacking 5 tracks, I'd rather her include them somewhere than not at all.  With the big deal made by people, she may just say **** it and not give us a long as album again. 

Sloppy or not - COYBOY CARTER came at the PERFECT TIME! She really is on the Zeitgeist! 

 

I LOVE how the name has grown on the whole world. It's instantly ICONIC and probably up there with Lemonade & Renaissance in terms of iconic album titles.

Yes I can see this happening. Act I was a scam, which led me not to preorder anything for Act II. Then this happen for Act II which is even worse ( patiently waiting for the standard CD with booklet). This "Queen move at its own pace" thingy is gonna backfired sooner or later.
