I think we can all agree that CC is the album that literally sounds like NO other Beyonce album and she really pushed herself out of her comfort zone. Thats also probably why to her, its her best work. It takes an enormous amount of studying and attention to detail to craft sth like CC. She did THAT

There was a post somewhere suggesting cowboy Carter is act 2 and 3. Was originally going to be a trilogy but then she combined the country and "rock" albums. Would explain why only B7 and B8 was hinted and the long track list.

Renaissance was created after CC as per Beyonce herself. Why would she say its a 3 act project in the booklet of Renaissance when what ur saying is true? Lol

 

I think the idea evolved and by the time she finished Renaissance, she realized she wanted to do a trilogy

Jolene, Protector, Ya Ya, American Requiem, Bodyguard are my top 5 tracks. Anyhow, I don't like the Post Malone collabo.

 

It's not an easy album to digest imo. It takes time to fully appreciate it.

It makes me a little sad that a lot of people aren't gonna experience this as a body of work. Some people I've talked to didn't realize she killed Jolene in Daughter. No one really actively listens or watches anything anymore
