The album is semi autobiographical based on what I'm hearing from these lyrics. It comes right after Jolene, she's runs into Becky (Jolene) in the bathroom at a party (the MET gala?) and throws hands. The chorus is basically a sequel to daddy lessons, saying she's just like her father when she gets angry (and her daddy said shoot). Then she goes into the Italian aria that talks about how she's faithful to her partner. 

 

Hopefully someone sent her the link to this thread from the RENA era when we were dragging her over no promo and shows up everywhere to annoy us this era. Signing in Japan, accepting her award Monday on tv, on W magazine next week.

I mean this is the land where Alicia Keys, Demi Lovato and Evanescence all had sold out arenas last year. People love concerts but we are going through a super bad recession rn and people are burning up their savings so investors probably arent too keen on a somewhat risky move Considering the government might tank our currency and they're stuck with a really bad deal. It happened many years ago when some guy produced a Frank Sinatra concert and the currency tanked and he ended up losing everything

This album is so expansive and sonically rich - I'm so overwhelmed with the enormity of it all and can't wait to sink deeper into each song 

 

What is evident straight away is that Bey has given more of herself into this album than possibly any other project she's done before. Just wow
