Opened the article link on CR instagram to read some story and it led to one of those "congrats! you are a special winner" sites. Just couple days ago my adblocked didnt allow me to go to the site on my laptop at all since there was something suspicious on it. What the **** is up with that magazine?

but she is posing for CR Fashion Book under their editorial direction. This is not like the Vogue situation where she got to choose her own photographer be involved in its art direction, which was historic and unprecedented, nor is it Elle where she's debuting her products in the pages of the magazine and it's not even Harper's Bazaar where she's slyly integrating her products. It's a fashion editorial and an interview about what's going on with her at the moment.

And honestly, if she is going to promote anything anywhere, realistically this is not the magazine to do it if she wanted to make a major marketing difference. This is all just like..fan service, playing dress up, etc. I doubt the GP even know this magazine exists. CR Fashion Book is not really the magazine (I think) that would do an advertorial either, which she's basically already done with her hair-forward photoshoot with ESSENCE.

ALSO the opening paragraph of the CR Fashion Book's article literally states:

 

"to celebrate the launch of her new haircare line, Cécred with a tribute to iconic hairstyles throughout history. From ancient Greece to the future..."

 

it really doesn't seem that serious that she's not doing an informercial within its pages.
