I definitely am getting that edgier rock vibe from this shoot which makes me wonder the same thing but idk…why release THE and 16C which are very clearly country focused as the intro to the era if it’s going to be a rock/country album(unless the rock aspect is meant to be a surprise upon first listen)

 

I am still of the belief that act II will be simply country(with a few other influences) and act iii will be rock(again with a few other influences).

well the strings of glitter lingerie she wore on the Renny album cover is not much to hit home about 

I love the shoot  and am glad that she's trying new things. We've gotten many high-glam photos of her in the past few years. I appreciate that it's so drastically different from the Essence shoot (which is top-tier and one of her best). This entire era (three-act project) is all about showcasing her versatility. This new shoot aligns with that, offering another opportunity to expand her audience.
