I felt the same way about Lemonade when watching the film again. Like are we serious she didn't win ******* AOTY for it? The attention to detail, the insight, the LAYERS.. and then u have basic Adele and Taylor with multiple AOTYs for what exactly?

If Ms White Lady ever released sth like Lemonade it would be hailed as the album of the millenia, but she doesnt have the range and never will have the range to even come up with 50% of Lemonade

Guys no need to downplay others though, there’s a place for all the girls and it’s not their fault that the Grammy’s do not like to reward black artists in general categories.

 

But yes, Lemonade is truly brilliant. No matter what people, and some in this very thread, it’s aging like fine wine.

A song from 2018 impacting releases in 2024? I dont think so... a major artist finishing her second act ii (an entire album) and producers gossiping impacting 2024 releases? Seems more likely

But she’s using silver for Essence, the THE cover and both visualizers. I think silver/chrome will be the color that ties the three acts.

Yeah there were definitely some murmurs in the industry. But I don’t think it’s the only reason. Country has been big for the past few years and huge on Apple Music. All their male artists take turn smashing like Hip Hop artists not named nicki

I thought this was just a subtle way of confirming B7's existence (since Brandy's album is called B7 and Bey is pointing to it).

 

I don't think it's part of a cover (also why would she tease Act II cover before Act I cover was even released)

That’s the cover for an album that came out like 6 months after Renaissance. My guess is she loved the album but couldn’t reveal the cover.
