Halo beautiful and a gorgeous pop ballad, it just got predictable

it can come back next tour tho - she’s had a good rest

Single Ladies too.

Only songs she should keep from the RWT are Crazy In Love and Love On Top, and maybe Break My Soul and Cuff It. The rest can rest until act iii tour. If she keeps doing different songs, she'll keep the interest in new tours. You wanna see/hear things you haven't already

The show she cancelled in Pittsburgh would’ve been made it hit 600M lmao. They got revenge on her!

Also could we get a crumb of destiny's child songs on the next tour too?

I have a feeling she isn’t going to extend this tour at all and instead, do a whole new tour in 2024. :dies:

The way I half read this and thought it was the movie ad. Oh Giselle lol....

So impressed with Houston. That attendance :WAP:

Seattle with 56k too. Whew. Kansas 53k. The difference is insane from her last tour.

Um, she doesn’t necessarily have to change the whole tour name. That was the point.

Said the same, but some have rightly pointed to the logistics and coordination needed to hash out something completely new so quickly.

Bey ain't a basic mic, guitar, and spotlight rocker. Her shows are huge in scale, deeply attached to a theme, highly choreographed, and have the expectation of topping the production of its predecessor.

That would be a tall task so close to her wrapping the RWT. If there's "more" touring to come in a window as close as 2024, there's a strong case to argue for the higher probability of an extension of RWT (if anything at all) rather than a totally new tour.

At the same time, it's not...impossible and in many ways would add to her game-changing innovation.

On top of that, Bey has been giving work smarter rather than harder for a while now. So, there's no reason at all that the following can't hold true:

* A tour for Act II has long been in the works already.

* Stage design, routing, and crew could all plausibly have been loosely locked in / decided upon as far back as when RWT was being worked on.

* Everything from the RWT itself to the upcoming film etc are the perfect distractions. They allow Bey to be "visible" to the GP while comfortably working on the next...thing. Like a tour.

* The film is the PERFECT promo vehicle to sell more tour tickets without having to really...try.

* Should she duplicate the RWT run, she'd be starting rehearsals in March/April for a May launch. That's 6-7 months away.

* Bey has done away with using the same people for everything. The simplest way I can articulate this is her driving in more of a "freelance" direction. So, what used to be the same block of folk working on everything has been broken up into project-by-project. A lot of the BIK crew were different from her usual...then she roped in largely new everything for the Oscars and Dubai...and had just a little bit of carryover from those into RWT.

All of this to say, what's to stop her from having a different set of creatives cultivating an Act 2 tour all this time? If anything, it's a surefire way to ensure it's different in everything from look and feel to the RWT.

This was way longer than intended lol, but...will just cap off by saying that more than anything, it's the $$$ logistics that have me uncertain about a new 2024 tour.

Bey's just made nearly $600 million from the RWT. It only makes sense to embark on a new tour (rather than extending RWT) if she's looking to make similar or MORE next time. From scratch.

On the one hand, she has many untouched lucrative regions to achieve this (Australia, New Zealand, and countless unvisited Euro spots like Italy, Ireland, and wider France etc). Then there's Brazil and LATAM, which are so overdue, but wondering aloud if she'll be able to touch the RWT gross by centering an Act 2 tour in 2024 in such regions (whose currencies aren't the strongest). She'll inevitably also revisit some of her strongest markets like the Londons, LAs, NYCs, ATLs, etc. But she won't want to cannibalize her overall demand by overly rehashing the RWT itinerary.

Long story short, extending the RWT makes the most sense for a multitude of reasons. Both practical and risk-wise. A new tour, however, is technically possible and IMO would be more creatively ambitious/satisfying.
