Love the new outfits for the opening section and Cuff It.

I've noticed these last 2 times she gets kinda nervous when performing DriL, she doesn't even dare get on the disco ball pole anymore.

 

That ATL night 3 malfunction really got to her

The butchering of the 2nd chorus of Aliensuperstar and ruining Sweet Dreams at the same is easily the worst thing she's done this tour...

 

The crowd is going wild AF, then Sweet Dreams comes on and everyone looses their mind, then she mixes them together singing alien on top of sweet dreams' melody and queue 60 seconds of confusion looks & silence...

 

 

 

my show tonight was amaze. no notes. got the big three and the mugler bee. The cuff it outfit was atrocious I will say. I literally said what the hell is that when the portal opened but…fantastic show! Excited for monday 

LA getting the big 3 each night while barely being mute, is nothing sacred giselle!!!

oh also! a VERY easy way to know if she’s gonna do the big 3 is what time she goes on. if she goes on after 9 it’s not happening. both today and yesterday she started at *exactly* 8:45.

Just came back to the show and I LOVED IT! WHAT A NIGHT! The new Cuff It outfit looked AMAZING in person! Everyone I’m with said it was the best outfit of the night!

Woah, the absolute lack of taste in here is atrocious. That new Cuff It / Energy / BMS outfit she wore today is one of the best things she's worn on this tour. So chic and camp and Renaissance coded. Could've got rid of the headpiece earlier, though.

Can y'all explain me why everybody is gagging at the THIQUE outfit?

I don't find it ugly or anything, but the reaction seems disproportionate when it basically looks like a scrapped version of her beautiful Loewe look, and she's wearing the same silhouette two times in a row during the show.

Again, it looks fine but I don't understand why the Loewe one really makes you look twice to figure out if it's her arm or nah, when in the THIQUE outfit, the graffiti are blurry and weirdly cut in some parts.

I love the new Cuff it outfit. It was perfect for Break my soul! She did the best wiggle last night.

There’s only one thing I’m interested in when it comes to outfits… what is she wearing for AHAP and PH? If it’s not Mugler, I’m really disappointed

It’s hard for me to believe that she lips anything during the show. Every time I thought there was a part they she lipped, she sang it differently some other time. I think she’s just letting her voice do it’s thing and enjoying the moment 

If she had kept Drunk In Love, it would be a highlight of the show

She started at 8:45 in Nashville, and we didn't get them. Didn't get Blue either. We truly lost

As a stan from DC days (with a keen eye and ear for her backend), Bey lips a fair bit. She just does what anyone who does it should strive to: she makes it believable. She and her audio people are literally wizards with it. 

 

Not to get too deep, but Bey's career is such an amazing gag to me in the sense that she really has course-corrected a lot of what her idols didn't. So, in the name of delivering an epic, flawless show that also allows her to preserve her voice (aka her primary instrument) for years to come, she blends live and prerecorded...and has done so for most of her career. Definitely the latter DC years and the entirety of her solo run. This tour included. 

 

It's so smart IMO, as it's her getting in front of ish before ish gets in front of her. I love Mariah, for example, but it does occasionally pain to see her lip badly or be forced to blend rough live verses with 90s-level prerecorded climaxes because the notes aren't there anymore. Bey can unquestionably sing everything she lips live, but singing it night after night would (IMO) expedite her being in a Mariah situation. She's amazing but she's also human and wear and tear is real. 

 

I essentially look at the lipping like Bey's use of weaves lol. We know her hair is healthy, long, and well-kept. Yet, she rocks protective styles to a) ensure that continues and b) lean in to the exaggerated spectacle of her showmanship. Same goes for her voice.
