While this sounds accurate on paper, the difference with projects such as EIL and TG is that she basically just dropped them and then didnt do anything apart from.that. this results in us, as fans, not having the feeling that these were proper eras. Thats why we feel so starved out.

Did she not re-release The Gift with a whole movie??

She did a year later, and it basically came and went.

I know the effort she put into it mustve been crazy, but the project itself is a niche project.

Its a lot of effort that didnt have a long lasting effect on the fandom and GP alike despite being very challenging and beautiful

Is this a recording studio, rehearsal studio, or film studio? The fact that the street has been shut down all week makes me want to think it’s for something bigger than just recording music.

It's probably something related to Ivy Park, didn't Chloe wear a piece from a new, yet unreleased collection?

The way she goes all out for IVP.

Good for her but could we at least get an Instagram's live with FYWB, Otherside and some Lemonade's songs while we wait.

By the way that green stabilo pieces she gifted to some looks bad.

A fall album release then tour in 2023 could be cute. She could even split it by touring Latin America & Australia in Jan-March, then US & Europe in the summer. +400M tour here we come! :jonnycat:

Yeah she should start there like the Beyoncé Experience

And also Asia after she's done with the summer leg. I think she is still very popular & big in places like Korea, Japan and Indonesia. So many K-Pop artists are inspired by her, I really hope she tours there again.

I'd also wish she could play in India again, I'm sure she'd be popular there too!

obviously she was going to tour this year with new album. last news I saw was it got delayed and she booked venue for next year so..

and album must be done if she submitted to vinyl factories for manufacturing.

Dont underestimate the reputation shes build over the last several years - its basically a given fact nowadays to hail Bey as the best performer alive. I know many people who dont even listen to Bey or care for her that would agree with this statement.

The demand will definitely be there when she decides to do a full world tour.

On another note: The Be Alive performance reached 10 Mio views :clap3:

I just had a crazy dream Bey dropped a visual House/EDM album made for the gays and she was serving. I don’t know how I made that music up in my head, but those were some BOPS. :jonnycat:

On the topic of Ivy Park, I hope she starts to pivot into bigger bolder moves with it than just the drops.

There is a LOT than can be done. Like a sponsorship of a sports tournament or team's uniforms, experiential pop-ups, a fashion show during fashion week. Maybe even open up actual sports parks in key areas like LA, NY etc.

Also, I seem to be one of the few that gets why she doesn't overtly tie her music to IVP (both pillars of her career need to be able to stand on their own). But c'mon. Surely an IVP TV commercial featuring something we've not heard is a perfect way to ignite buzz both the brand and her incoming material?

The Peloton thing was a cool tie-in, but there just needs to be....more.

I'm not even mad at her being this vested in IVP, because it's vital she does things outside of music for cultural sustenance. But I think while the capsule drops make a lot of business sense, the same marketing strategy over and over (celeb gifting, Bey coming out her cave for a quick photoshoot) is a bit monotonous. It also makes the actual drops feel like less of an event and more of a "ah that's cool" and keep scrolling.

Noting that there have been a few notable new hires at both Parkwood and IVP gives me hope that at least some of the above could be coming.

Listen to Grand Canyon by Dhyana Dan and tell me how this doesnt Sound like it was meant for Bey. I can literally hear her vocals over these instrumental :jonny6:

Also "Vergessen" by Klanglos (listen to it, you'll understand what I mean) would be sth amazing. Like I imagine sth like this as an Intro to a song that features house beats, similar to Get Togetjer by Madonna which has like a radio version and a long Version with an epic intro. Uff, the gag of it all to hear a Bey track opening with that sound :jonny5:

Why doesnt she do Oceania? Shed easily do well.

I think Asia may be questionable, she's ignored the market for so long. Idk how she'd do

I believe there were plans for FWT however logistically it was not viable due to the sheer cost of transporting the stage and monolith. From memory she had 3 alternate stages being built and taken down to keep up with the timeline.

I'd happily take a production cut or even arenas if it meant I didn't need to travel to see her. I flew to Brussels, Frankfurt and Dublin for FWT and Palmsprings for Coachella from Australia and it certainly hurt the bank. Just part of being a Bey stan these days.

She could easily fill out stadiums in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Aukland. If she wanted to push it Adelaide and Perth as well. Surely that would bring in bank.

I dont think we are well positioned to give her advice on Ivy Park. After so many drops already and data they've collected from sales, they should know by now what works and what doesn't. I simply think Ivy Park is earning her more money and less effort than Music ever could. So as a mother of three who has to focus on raising kids that are growing, probably attending sports games and stuff Beyoncé dont want to miss out on and then being married and having to nurture that too and focusing on her business venture too because she is attached to a huge brand like Adidas and must produce results. That is a lot. It's normal that her music is taking time to come out now and she is being strategic with it. I definitely think holding out a little more is the way to go.  A later summer release or even fall would be good. Before that best believe a Ivy Park project will come lol.

Cant wait for August/September when the base will be filled with "to be honest, spring 2023 just makes.more sense as a release date. Like it takes time etc." :rip:

She is not feeding those kids herself, not with her bio-hazardous cooking. The kids will be fine release the damn album she is getting on my last nerve

...But we are.

Yes, I'm sure they have the data and insights, but as the consumer, our feedback is crucial.

There's being profitable (which I imagine IVP is), but there is that lightning in a bottle cultural stronghold that is difficult to get. That Rihanna / Fenty Beauty type positioning. IMO, that type of cultural penetration is what Bey ought to be angling for (be that with IVP or any other non music venture she has up her sleeve).

Makeup aficionados will tell you now that Fenty is literally not just "a" thing but "the" thing. Up there with the Mac's, Loreal's, etc. In many ways, savvy marketing has seen it stand almost entirely separately from the "Rihanna" brand. I'd argue, the Fenty brand is what makes Rihanna "cool" these days  rather than the other way around. And much as I'm Team Bey over all, that's very impressive and ought to inspire all these artists pushing side-hustles.

The good thing is IVP definitely has established itself as more than a quick celeb side thing. I'm just saying that there's room to grow/improve.

It’s crazy how just one little verse makes the song so different, even with Sorry the demo felt like a brand new song than what we actually got it’s crazy. I wish more stuff from ST/Lemons would leak :monkey:
