The 70 year voter saying he looks down on boy bands so Harry won’t be getting his vote 

couldn't care less about the grammy's anymore, their significance shrinks every year and her winning AOTY now would just feel like they were forced to do it after they snubbed her 3 separate times.

 

anyways i hope she pays them dust and drops the tour teaser as soon as they announce AOTY.

Literally none of those voters seemed to actually vote the album they liked the most. Not taking acts seriously, wanting to see your fave artist get AOTY, finding someone too portentous, all that is not important when you need to vote for the best album. God, this is exactly why 25 won over lemonade

I just realize that most of the people who didnt get Tickets today will try for Germany.

Its gonna be horrible, but I'm gonna pull through. I just manifest it, cause help those ugly rats if they get Tickets and I dont. Im gonna be there with 4 Laptops, im ready.

well now that you mention it Cologne suddenly doesn’t sound that far  but i need the paris experience i always dreamed of seeing her here…. well i’ll try again on tuesday and if that fails… i’ll just show up at the stadium and do what needs to be done 

 

The amount of people I see with Club Renassaince for certain dates in just the pre-sale, it feels like it's going to be a crowded club

I actually don't even think it's that simple.

It's a popularity contest if you are white.

If you are not white, it suddenly becomes genuinely about whether the material is worthy of the acclaim

AND if the record has somewhat a low number of contributors. 

And when in particular it's Beyoncé, it has to be all three.

 

 Even that wouldn't assure her the win. Why?

Just read what the voters said when it was Lemonade vs 25. 

It's not that they think the album doesn't deserve it.

They just don't want to award it to Bey specifically.

A lot of people in the industry are extremely bothered by her fame, acclaim and status.

Which is why in the secrecy of their votes, they use it to vent and protest vote.

 

I'm not surprised she is probably going to lose again, I stopped expecting anything after Morning Phase won over Self Titled

When do Germany tickets go on sale? 

will it be easier to get tickets during general sale ? if you just wake up at 3 am and get in the queue already you should be good at 10am right ? 

 

 

i read somewhere that BBC (?) said there’s >7000 tickets for presale, which means the other 65k will be available on tuesday right ?

I remember someone on twitter with inside info said years ago that a lot of the voters who don't vote for her are rappers and other R&B artist. I was shocked at this claim but then now, I believe it. Like you said, a lot of people, especially some of her peers(the ones who peaked early) are bothered by her success. They probably thought she was going to fade quickly and still wouldn't be here in 2023. I remember I saw a red carpet interview with Tinashe in 2017 for the Grammys & they asked her who was she rooting for to win (or take aoty?? ) & She said Adele. This was the same year Lemonade was nominated.

 

I'm not really into the Grammys. If she wins good for her. But like most of the awards shows, I've lost interest in them. I only semi care for the Oscars now & even that has lost me in the last decade.

 

I'm betting on getting that Miami date. Ticketmaster better have their -ish together.

I never had VIP tickets to a Bey show before   I am so excited, I may not be on this forum a lot anymore or in this thread like I was let's say 2013 ish but good to be here now and then

Taylor swift can drop a bunch of lullabies and win aoty, Bey needs to prove herself 100 times and even when she yet again exceeds all expectations, then they'll use her hard work that led to her status, power and success against her. Talking about the fact that her releases are big events like its a bad thing. You'd never hear these people give those same criticisms to white artists

 

They seriously need to kick all the demented old people out of the voting committee
