I was going through my bookmarks on twitter and came across this thread: Bey is always 10 steps ahead. I remember when she teased Lemonade. Sometimes the Hive is not overthinking stuff. Sometimes she really does give right in your face hints.

A site full of Black women notoriously known for bashing other successful black women for no reason. They deserve their lashings. Now they need to worry about not getting sued for the 1000th time.

Jay Z spoke the truth but I do wish celebs would boycott the Grammys. At one point they weren't here for hip hop/rap music. I already spilled the tea on here last year about Bey and the voting body, info I got from a direct voting member but some were dismissive. Overall, it's not just a Bey issue. But it's hilarious hearing anonymous voters talk about her having too much yet these same people have no problem giving out too many AOTYs to one person. Is that not too much?

Ashley saw the buzz in her comments and DMs and had to say something. Count me in as someone who doesn't believe her either. She's always liking things that are shady towards Bey.

Bey could be the sole song writer on her next album and she still would not win. They have given AOTY to albums that have used heavy samples and multiple song writers before. If she has a huge commercial era again (which she already has) then they will say it's because she's "too big". If she flops then they will say it's because she had no hits. It's much deeper than that. I'm glad shes the most awarded, even though it's a cover.

Yes but it's kinda sad when it's her own people voting against her but then are the same ones who complain the Grammys don't reward enough Black artist in the main categories. She's not the only one they do this to though but when I found out that info I didn't really have a reaction, just a shrug. The cover is they will say she's the most rewarded of all time. And that she should be happy with that.

I dropped tea in here the other day so no one should be surprised. Bey's peers, ESPECIALLY the ones who are rappers & other R&B artist do not vote for her in the main categories. She only has 1 main win ever and that was because Single Ladies was just too big to ignore. Maybe one day they will give it to her but from what I know, I don't see it for now. She could do everything right and still lose because for some reason her success bothers a lot of people...and some peers 👀. They move the goal post for her. They'll just continue to give her Grammys in categories that aren't the main dish. That's all I'll say for now.

I remember someone on twitter with inside info said years ago that a lot of the voters who don't vote for her are rappers and other R&B artist. I was shocked at this claim but then now, I believe it. Like you said, a lot of people, especially some of her peers(the ones who peaked early) are bothered by her success. They probably thought she was going to fade quickly and still wouldn't be here in 2023. I remember I saw a red carpet interview with Tinashe in 2017 for the Grammys & they asked her who was she rooting for to win (or take aoty?? ) & She said Adele. This was the same year Lemonade was nominated. I'm not really into the Grammys. If she wins good for her. But like most of the awards shows, I've lost interest in them. I only semi care for the Oscars now & even that has lost me in the last decade.

From all the clips I've seen she sounded AMAZING. I'm happy to continue to be a fan. Hope she has a good speedy recovery.

I am so conflicted when it comes to MJ. I was a HUGE Stan growing up but once I got into my 20s I stopped stanning hard and I could never put my finger on why. This was before the 3rd batch of allegations come out (2013). I now fully believe he was a pedophile. I was convinced before Leaving Neverland that he was guilty. As you grow up a lot of things become clear. I think most people deep down (including his hardcore stans) believe he was guilty. I've personally talked to some other former fans who believe he was guilty. I believe more victims will come out in the coming years.

Where is she? Where is the tour? The visuals? I thought this era was supposed to be different and have a great rollout? Love Bey but I'm glad I got to witness when she actually put in effort into her releases. New hive missed out. No more fun interviews, etc. It wouldn't hurt her to be more interactive with the fans more. She doesn't have to do Sasha fierce level promos but give us something??

Catching up on this thread and I honestly understand some of the Hive's frustration with Bey's promo or lack there of in recent years. As someone who remembers her Destiny's Child eras all the way up to her Sasha Fierce era, it's like night and day the way she communicates with fans and promotes. It's almost ghost-like now lol. I think after she became a Mom and facing backlash about her pregnancy and Blue, she put her walls up. She has always been very coy about her private life but she was still very personable and relatable enough. Like I said, I really think the backlash she received in the early 2010s made her guard up for good. Imagine if Bey did an Instagram Livestream? Just taking fan questions and laughing with the fans? Instagram would collapse. But she's not at that place anymore and I've accepted it. I'm glad she still has it and continues to deliver us great albums.
