Holding off the album for streaming was counterproductive in the long run, and unfortunately the songs didn't really stick out to the GP. 

 

It's her worst performing album in terms of daily streams. To think that even B'Day is outstreaming Lemonade

I really thought Formation would be the song to carry it at least.

That colorism excuse to defend people like Kelly who are just LAZY is just insane to me. Whitney Houston was a darker skinned woman but she was one of the BIGGEST vocalists in the WORLD period. The color of her skin never stopped her glory. Same for Janet. 

 

Kelly Rowland never pushed her own career even though she had ALL the opportunities. She made house music that made her hot all over the world and she could have held on to that style for a little while longer and made more music, nope she came back to the US chasing after Beyoncé and living off the DC days. It's pure laziness. Let's call it for what it is but instead they find her so many excuses and it's easier to blame beyoncé of course RME

Yeah its sad that she didnt keep releasing hits in Europe - I think Motivation's success in the US made her and the label want to focus on america with the R&B sound. She ended up not achieving it, and losing her european success in the process.

Y’all I’ve been listening to a lot of music other than Renaissance and it just makes Renaissance that much better like I don’t know how you can think any other album is her best  like when I came back to Virgos groove after a day or two of not listening to it on my

headphones I felt god touching me

Was doing Uber all night for New Years and kept playing this all night and it's so crazy how many of my riders didnt know both who the singer was and what the songs were it's kinda crazy...like she's smashing but it's kinda just there for the first time ever....

I could see her dropping it a few days before the tour starts, like Lemonade. 

I mean it kinda would make sense for the visuals to drop during pride month.
