I think the worst part about having no visuals, is knowing that something has most likely gone wrong with them  I can't fathom any other reason she would post a teaser and then go silent for two months.

 

Also... the fact we didn't even get any pics of her at her huge birthday bash with all the celebrities? At this point, it looks like she wasn't even there

I think it’s clear that she was trying to find a distributor for the film by releasing the teaser and creating the hype because her Netflix deal fell through (Netflix is having $$$ issues and lost 1 mill subs last year).
 

She was still filming when the album dropped so it’s likely just still in post production. Parkwood hired freelance video editors in august. She’s just taking her time. She did this exact thing with The Gift.

This feels like the hard truth. The visuals will deliver regardless but we will prob continue to wait for them.

This makes more sense, thank you. I didn't realise that was also the case with TG.

Partition would had been one of her most streamed songs  had they separated it from YONĆE. They were a cute duet at debut, but miss Partition has proven to be ageless while Yonće is just there to take up time and deter streams! 
 

Drunk in love and 7/11 were riding the TRAP waves 

Formation lowkey ages like the majority of her other base’s favorite’s music!

Wait I didn’t even realise this. In fact a lot of the writing credits only have 2 or 3 writers. Thique, Cuff It and ITG we’re written by her and The-Dream. AHAP was written by only her and Jay.

I didn't know this. Hence why it's so so so damn good. 

Cute to know about AHAP. 

I didn't really have the patience to subtract all the samples to find out the "real" writers. 

 

I hope in Act II, we have at least one song without samples where she's the sole writer and composer. 

I was just thinking lately how Renaissance is everything I wanted and asked for during the drought on the music side : I posted here how I loved the transitions in Homecoming and Confessions on a Dancefloor and Ren has seamless transitions.

I wanted her to work with Saadiq and she did on two songs. 

No features unless it's unexpected... Only one song has a feature and it was unexpected. 

 

Maybe the next album will be Rock/soul as I envisioned. 

They can wait 20 years to release the movie no one asked for. However cuff it needs a video release . This could be a moment for Renaissance.
