I definitely think releasing another album soon after Renaissance is a good idea for a couple of reasons.

Following up Renaissance is going to be very difficult.  The way the album is already a cult classic in the gay and club scene is impressive.  The amount of impact it has had already is very apparent when you see videos of how people react in clubs when songs like 'Alien Superstar' are played.  The expectations from these groups will be pretty high, especially with a long wait, and with Renaissance being somewhat of a concept album, we probably shouldn't expect her to follow it up with another dance album.  Releasing another album or two in rapid succession wouldn't alienate these groups as they still have Renaissance, it's fresh, the demand for another dance album isn't super high, it gives her more freedom.

It'll help with her streaming numbers immensely.  Look at how Taylor's trilogy has really pushed her to the top of streaming.  Renaissance will have people wanting more.  I think ACT II will have an even larger streaming base.  Renaissance has really rekindled Beyonce with the millennials, and has definitely opened her up to Gen Z.  She's current. The virility of the album has been great, and visuals will only push that further.  Much of Gen Z have just recently been introduced to Beyonce with Renaissance, and her visuals will further connect with them as she delivers something very different from other pop stars.  I think Gen Z will be more involved with the follow-up, especially if it's sooner rather than later, they'll be curious.

I'm really excited to see how it all plays out.  Outside of the actual material, it's always interesting to see the way Beyonce manipulates her projects in ways we don't really see, like the surprise drop, or debuting her music with visual stories like Lemonade.  It lets you know that something big is coming, and I really don't think we have any idea as to what.

I agree but I still hope she will wait until at least March of next year. I hope she can at wait until March so a lot of the songs have the time to be exposed to the public. We kind of already "wasted" 2 months when AS could have been pushed but I hope CI, Heated and some other song (SR/AS) can be released and Virgo's Groove can been performed publicly before we move on to the other era. Singles give huge longevity to albums nowadays. Then again, I'm just dreaming.

It's kinda unbelievable that none of her albums are available in Dolby Atmos when most artists have some or all of their discographies done. Even acts like Whitney and Luther managed to get their albums put in Dolby Atmos from beyond the grave. Bey has got some serious catching up to do.

Remember when the Dolby Twitter account was teasing something with Renaissance basically everyday. They even changed their handle to DolBey. The Hive fell for it of course :ahh:

I agree. Waiting until at least March let's Ren have its moment for a couple months and potentially have a third single. But following up with ACT II relatively soon is still a great strategy. As it's been said before, best way to build up streaming power is to be active. Going with the Taylor example; she didn't immediately become powerhouse after Lover, or even folkmore, it was all of those releases building a new fan base who had tons of new music to listen to/bond over.

My ideal rollout for the rest of the Acts:

Act 2: April 2023
Tour beings (US/EU leg): May 2023

Act 3: October 2023
Australia, Asia, Latin America tour leg: December 2023 - March 2024
Another US/EU leg to tour Act 3 Songs: May 2024

The way my excitement for the visuals is at an all-time low. They’ve done a marvelous job at taking all the wind out of the sails of this era. Renaissance era: Great music, beautiful music

Even Bjork, who’s on her 10th album/era and 29th year in music, is doing a better job at releasing visuals for her new music:lmao:

I’m gonna just watch these and pretend that Alien Superstar is playing over them.

How dare she eh

Act 3 only 6 months after act 2 is way too soon. Maybe Feb 2024.

But I do like the idea of Act 2 being released in April with its lead premiering in March 3-4 weeks before the album.

Have we considered the theory that part iii is the visuals that ties act I and act II together? We know nothing for sure yet but this era did start with Beyoncé website teasing us with a page for B7 and B8. Then tidal tweeted what is a B7...And answered with B8.

Also both dance and country were rumors we heard plus Renaissance and rodeo were names teased in a way. Realistically we've only been blindly guessing for the third album name and theme.

Maybe it's two albums followed by a film that creates a story out of the two? Even in terms of a timeline it sounds sensible and not unsound - like trying to create a timeline for three albums and their visuals. Sorry I just don't see her have one larger vision/project/era which she's calling a three part project and spread it over ******g three years.

Also side note - not some of y'all still not knowing what dolby is and asking for it... It's not better than hifi or masters pls

I kept telling everyone at best it was a sign RENAISSANCE would be available in Dolby Atmos but realistically that a Dolby assistant was just capitalizing on her hype/acting as a fan until album release.

Some Hive was so convinced it was part of an elaborate plan related to the film that would be in Dolby Vision and released on album release day :bibliahh:

THX was a partner on the Formation World Tour. so a Dolby collaboration is definitely not out of the picture.

It was honestly VERY strange because all those virtual reality companies were tweeting stuff about renaissance as well. so it's still VERY possible whatever is planned for the era is still in partnership with Dolby. we haven't seen anything from the VR companies either.

i think some things planned for the era are potentially not panning out as planned? but who knows at this point

I don't think the teaser would've ended with act i renaissance if it was a visual teaser for a two album project

I don't think she's going to hold onto the acts for a long time, I mean if she recorded them in 2020-2021, 2024 would be 3-4 years after a completed album

I hope Virgos Groove gets the singles treatment.  It may be the best love song in her catalogue, edging out 1+1, Love On Top and Once In A Lifetime. I hope the producers are on the RnB act because they ate.

Mine used to be Haunted for the longest, then Run The World, then All Night, then Dont Hurt Yourself, then Virgos Groove but now (this week) I think it’s Alien Superstar (still not a fan of the ending but the rest makes up for it)
