In the US, the song debuts at #6 with 996,285 streams and #3 in the UK with 296,523 streams.

the song is good, I think it just doesn't scream megasmash, it's fine! Ed seems to get through average debuts but huge longevity

Its insanely boring. Taylor is my fave, but I think she somehow made the remix worse than the album version. And I love ballads, but this is just awful to me

I thought it had #1 on TTH and a radio deal?  Seems like decent promotion to me.

 

Anyway, the song is not it. The music video is cute though.

The streams are bad  we need to stream harder!

This is exactly my point about two big artists collaborating and the natural expectation that the song will be a hit…

 

It won’t.

 

Ed Sheeran would have more chance of gaining a smash-hit if he collaborated with Jazmine Sullivan or Muni Long. That’d be unexpected and I’m sure the song would actually be good.

I will say, Run is not awful… it’s much better than EHC that’s for sure
