She's had months of pre-orders, a LOT of promotion (pls stop acting like SNL skits + performance + multiple late night shows + smartly utilizing the biggest app in the world [aka specifically making a tik tok stating ALL of Red-TV will be immediately available on Tik Tok for content creators]), and is on a lot of spotify playlisting. I was on a "sad songs" curated playlist and guess what was #1? All Too Well sad girl autumn version or whatever its called

 

I'm not saying Taylor's numbers are bad or unimpressive. But she worked for those numbers and it did not come "easy" like her fans are trying to portray. And the "Rerecording" is actually working in her benefit with the narrative she is spinning. These would not clear these numbers if not for the Scooter Braun drama.

If you want to be pedantic: There are eight vault tracks, as ATW 10 min version is just an extended version of an already released song. And Better Man and Babe were already released by other artists and have been performed by Taylor multiple times in concert. Therefore, six “brand new” songs is a correct statement

You said the playlisting is her promotion.... maybe she didnt have anything to do with that and Spotify just put it there. Idk. Maybe she did.

Yes she promoted the album. Nothing close to Lover and albums before that, but she absolutely did. She also didnt do anything 2nd or 3rd week and the holds are pretty good. 

And people promote stuff all the time that then doesnt do well. The songs are still what they are. All from 2012 and 23/30 heard before in other, mostly very similar, versions

You do know that the attack against Adele has already happened even prior to the album release, ever since Red TV moved release dates. The way since EOM was dropped, there was a flood of threads attacking Adele suddenly (and majority of them came from Swifties- not some random OAH hiding behind her).

 

It speaks volumes that Swifties specifically have been camping and attacking Adele (which is diff from the OTHs who come from different fanbases). And supposedly we triggered the conflict? Considering that you yourselves claim that they are OTHs hiding behind Adele, what’s with the fuss then with attacking Adele directly? For someone who has no problem with Taylor (and whose core fanbase was historically cordial with the Swifities- until recently), the amount of hate she’s been recieving from the fanbase is as harsh than the ones who actually had conflict with Taylor (eg.
