Spotify has issued a statement clarifying the peaks "drivers license" has reached on its Global chart: "On January 11, Olivia Rodridgo’s “drivers license” set the Spotify record for most streams in a day for a non-holiday song with over 15.17M global streams. On January 12, the song continued to beat its own record with over 17.01M streams." (We previously reported 13.4m streams as the peak, with SpotifyCharts.com as our source.)

According to her website, she’s putting finishing touches on it.

 

Given the sudden success of DL, wouldn’t be surprised if they rushed something out in February, perhaps around her birthday or Valentine’s day.
