I was told she repeaked b/c her first week was bigger than the Bradley soundtrack.

How does 57k compare to the collab album's follow up weeks?

Mostly Taylor stans :shakeno:

How do you go from 270K to less than 60K in one week? This album won't last 4 weeks in the top 10. Yikes.

We're in a moment of possibly the greatest social unrest in the US of this millennium so far and you weirdos are still rushing in here to discredit Gaga, absolutely humiliating

OT: I was told she'd be out of the top 10 by week 2 so this is amazing :clap3:

Thanks for posting actually stats :clap3:

@Starkboy posted a more complete list :clap3:

Pop artists have stronger physical/digital sales which means these listeners may not be contributing to the SPS album sales in the weeks after the debut. If they are listening to a CD rather than streaming there will obviously be a big drop in apparent activity. But these drags happen after every pop girl release lol

why are oghs pretending is is awful? i was expecting like 20K lmao

Not bad

I'm sure after this info monsters will purchase more copies since she is close so she will end up #1 for another week.

As IF not every major popstar experiences such large drops during their second weeks. Add to that the current US crisis, the lack of any type of TV, Radio or Online promo and you get all the ingredients for a large drop.

Don’t worry, Chromatica has a big hit under its belt which will keep its units more stable during the upcoming week. It won’t leave the top 10 as soon as some of you might think.

The other albums serving longevity in the top 10 aren't being promoted and have been out for longer. There's no excuse as to why she should be doing less than 60K in her second week with an album that has a #1 and top 5 hit. This album will be out of the top 10 in the next two weeks and so will ROM.

And the monsters had the nerve to call this her comeback era :rip:

“There’s no excuse” girl you look dumb. Just admit you’re a rabid hater that hates gaga and move on.

Um, it absolutely will. I actually love the album, but it's commercial performance is underwhelming. ROM will drop to #8 or #9 next week and it'll be out of the top 10 the week after that. Same goes for Chromatica on the BB 200. Nothing about this era has/will serve any sort of longevity.

What were you expecting? Albums are mainly bought by fans in the streaming era, and most tracks have fallen consistently in streaming. Especially with bundles, an 80% fall was expected.

I know right people act like it went from #1-out

a drop from #1 to #2 is not bad lol

Albums ain’t selling 100k on a regular week anymore. Those days are long gone and this is just how far streaming can get you. Oh well.

It’s possible, Lover, Billies album and TUN all had atleast 3 weeks selling 100k if I’m not mistaken. No shade to Gaga

ROM won’t drop to #8 or #9 next week. With radio quickly picking it up, it will spend at least 10 weeks inside the Top 10.

#1 on iTunes with a decent lead over BL.

Top 10 on US spotify

Top 20 on Apple Music

Biggest radio gainer for a whole week in a row by far.

Yes. Nobody expected ROM or Chromatica to stabilise at the top position, maybe not even in the Top 3, but this is gonna stick around for longer than y’all believe.

She hasn’t acknowledged the album since it came out

so

Lover, tun, and billies albums also opened over 350k

Yes, there are no excuses. Like I said, there are other albums in the top 10 that were released months ago, under the same COVID-19 conditions, so using it as an excuse for your fave doesn't work, sorry. It wasn't an excuse when the album did over 250K in it's first week, but now it's an excuse :skull: Lil Baby didn't even score any hits from his albums. No song off it reached the top 10, yet his album is managing to serve longevity, enough go to back to #1 several weeks after it originally dropped.

massive second week drops aren’t new to miss Lady Gaga so....

If she reopened her store I’m sure she could cinch a second week at #1 but she is largely ignoring her album out of respect for BLM :clap3:

And yes, this isn’t unexpected for a pop album:

Sweetener -67%
Lover -79%

Manic -77%

Don’t know why Queen is being brought up in this discussion when her debut numbers was bolstered mainly by tour bundles of a cancelled arena and tacking on FEFE to the tracklist (a collaboration with a paedophile).

She reopened her store and added more signed copies there. Second week #1 is possible tbh.

This. Most major pop acts decline 65-85% in their second weeks anyway, bundles or not.
