The chart runs are surprisingly short.

Is this based on single sales + streams? Or just sales?

The one posted by Hector seems to include both airplay and streaming, but I've never seen it used anywhere. The official top 30 chart, called Tonlist, has now been moved on RÚV's website and is the one I used, but idk what it counts.

Here would be your best guess, but I still have better luck just going to a song's wiki page and finding the attached links  

 

I think that top 40 chart goes from 1993 to Fall of 2001 (because I was able to find Britney's peaks from 1999-onwards except when it goes into the Fall).
