  1. It’s not the sole reason for success but it’s what’s allowed her to build up a larger fan base and catalog of hits that’s not restricted by identity politics. Someone like Beyoncé is inherently strongly connoted with BLM and the left which immediately alienated half of the US always “I used to like her back in the day before she got all political”, Taylor getting political or pandering to the lgbt community’s only solidified her status as a pop icon/gave her more access, Beyoncé can’t cross venture into genres the same way Taylor/Miley can (I don’t meant that artistically but practically - eg Daddy Lessons not being nominated in country genre for Grammys). As such Taylor has a much larger audience. Plus people don’t just go to see musicians because they’re great performers, especially pop stars, it’s more because their music/story/look resonates with you - Taylor’s strongest markets in Europe and countries with more blonde people.

Exactly. And she’s done this before like before Glastonbury she did those smaller private shows in France. She’s basically practising for the Grammys/Renaissance tour, it’s her first public performance since 2018 and turning 40 which is quite a pivotal moment in a (especially female) popstars career. I also feel like it builds international media presence in a unique way, eg her going to India for Ambanis’ daughter wedding was great media coverage for her in India - basically promo she gets paid for, you know all Arab media outlets will cover this tomorrow, especially if she posts a few insta pics. It’s promo/media coverage that allows her to keep her elusive mystique, headlines that focuses on her actual talent and elevate the luxury/power of her brand (singing/performing, instead of going on talk show to try and prove how quirky/relatable she is with some made up story about her kids) AND be paid for the same time...it’s an obvious win-win.
  3. Well I’m vers, doesn’t feel natural to let a guy more feminine than me top me, would be more put off (as a bottom) if they were really into drag race for example. I guess there’s something off putting about them very strongly identifying with a women/femininity when you want them to **** you.

All these complaints about no promo and visuals are so stupid to me, it’s clear Beyoncé knows what she’s doing. She’s about to release 3 albums, she needs to avoid overexposure, she’s thinking long term. Literally in the name of the era renaissance. I really feel like we may get a in depth documentary especially if the second album is acoustic. It’s been almost a decade since her last interview/life is but a dream, I can really see her giving something similar, talking about why she stopped giving interviews, jayz cheating on her etc.
  5. LMAO, ok this bitch needs to PROMOTE
  6. Wow at Lemonade having 3 top 10s. GLOBAL Legend confirmed.
  7. Releasing a 25 track album has inflated his streams, obviously still VERY impressive but just saying.
