Buy Adele albums instead.

I'm an Adele stan.  I already own all of her albums (digital and physical).

If you want to be the best selling male artist in the world you have to be on par with the best selling female artist in the world Edward :sistrens:

That's a very optimistic claim :sistrens:

Pre Devide, Ed Sheeran only has Thinking Out Loud as a huge hit to speak of, while Justin has many. I don't get why people said Ed is bigger than Justin LOL.

wait, ed really thinks he's bigger than JB?

tumblr_mxoh8kKOwT1rqekzuo1_400.gif

he really thought he was even close to dethroning adele atop the throne?

tumblr_mxoh8kKOwT1rqekzuo1_400.gif

meaning by extension he thought he was bigger than taylor and beyonce in album sales?

those are first week sales. you can't compare first week sales of an urban artist to that of a pop artist. save adele whose music caters to all, and taylor who crossed over from country, urban artists sell high in the 1st week then start falling and end up selling just double or at most triple their first weeks, while pop sell over time and could sell 4 to 5 times their first week sales.

beyonce's last album sold 3x as much as his last album in the first week, but he went on to sell as much as she did (or even slightly more)

As much as I detest the Biebs, you gotta admit he's the biggest male artist in the world rn. His globality is a lot more far-reaching than Ed and Drake.

No Ed is slightly bigger globally, Bieber has the touring advantage.

Ed is known mostly as 'that guy who sings Thinking out loud' by the global GP. how does that make him slightly bigger than Bieber LOL.

idc what you Think GP "Think", i care about the fact that X has sold 9 million copies and also it being the 2nd most streamed album of all time despite coming 1,5 year before Purpose and therefore had a much smaller streaming platform.

and also i said slightly.

eminem wouldn't sell much opening weekend. maybe he'd have longevity but that's it.

Eminem always opens with around 600k, 2 of his albums opened with 1M + one sold 800k in 3 days.

When he releases, his entire discography charts inside the BB200
