It's tough because I initially felt like it was unfair to her competitors to have Miley in a rate with Jessie/Kylie/Troye since I feel like she has HUGE stans on her (if you look at the ATRL Grammys at least), but idk I think that lineup works. If we're doing 4 artists for most of these rates let's make like Year-End lists and ignore Terfy

Chappell being launched into 2024 makes way too much sense too, so I like that decision. Add Sia, Meghan, or (if you want male edginess) Justin to the flop line and you're probably set. Feels weird not including one of the highest-scoring albums ever in TW2024 (Charli) but Sabrina-Chappell-her-Tinashe were the undeniable breakouts of this year so it's hard to separate any of them.

 

Normally it'd be fun to offer to host a rate but I'm way too busy in the final stretches of wedding planning I'm a naur until 2025! Will participate in any tho

Yeah, I think the traditional TW2024 will have to be converted into an alt lineup of, like, St. Vincent, VW, and maybe Magdalena Bay/MJ Lenderman/Clairo? Jamie xx?

 

TWA23 is causing so many unexpected problems! Like, Kelela and Caroline are a perfect pair because of their history. But, who else... if you don't want Sufjan, you're not going to want Wednesday or ANOHNI! You know what I mean?

 

I think JT and not Meghan or Sia (because did anyone expect anything more) would be the perfect album to round out At Least You Tried - but, ATRL and men...

Adding Superstar T ( @supaspaz would kill me/you/us if I didn't!) and we have it. Honestly, it's so far the 2024 rate I'm most excited about!
