Tay will pass the throne to Abel who will replace himself then stay there until Miley and SZA come along and hopefully both get their turn at the top…

what’s more important is that trash will get blocked from returning or getting to the top :clap3:

Country

3    1     NATE SMITH    Whiskey On You    8499    7743    756    37.79
2    2    KANE BROWN & KATELYN BROWN    Thank God    8080    7772    308    36.269

This is just tragic on all levels. There is no reason why a god awful song like Whiskey On You should be #1 over a much better song like Thank God, especially when country radio should have dropped Whiskey On You in like early November. Thank God (and country music fans) deserves better.

I kinda disagree, TG is a safe smash, it's going to have its time and it's probably having great longevity as well. On my personal taste, I like WOY a lot, such a great song and I appreciate the heavy drums, but yeah the metrics don't necessarily match the airplay is having.

Anyways...

So, I ain't gonna waste another drop of whiskey on you
No, I ain't

It could still be #1 on the Billboard Radio Songs chart. The numbers were very close.

Creepin officially passes Made You Look on Pop. Abel dominating pop/radio with his own 2016/17 song and pretty much a remake of a 2004 song.

The way this is already her second biggest pop hit (Almost Love peaked at number 21) while still in its infancy, I smell a future top 3 hit incoming :clap3:

I'm pretty sure that when a song is outside the top 10 after its 20th week and has no bullet, it goes recurrent.

  • Songs below No. 10 are removed from the chart after 20 weeks provided they have peaked in the Top 10 (on the official sunday update).
  • If a song has not peaked in the Top 10, it must be down in spins for two consecutive weeks and have been on the chart over 20 weeks.
