Ariana Grande - "yes, and?"
I don't particularly care for the song, but it is a bop [is this statement an oxymoron?].

Brandy - 'Christmas with Brandy'
I wish Christmas Gift was released as the lead. Don't get me wrong I do love CPFT, but I could see CG obliterating (not obliterating lol) but making some noise on radio. It just has that upbeat good feeling with it, similar to Kelly C's SCYHM. No they do not sound similar to me, just similar vibes.

#BlackDontCrack
I'm always a sucker for anything Babyface, so yes I like that track with him and John, but I like the Swae Lee song which is weird because I'm not a Swae fan. I, also, like the Summer Walker track but read Sza was originally the artist who was supposed to do it. W/e the case it's still one of my favorites on the album. Oh yeah, like the Mary track too, but sounds like a dude (who sounds similar to Mary sings some of it while not being credited).

Halle Bailey - "Angel"
I will preface, that everyone has a right to their opinion, but what I don't get are the people calling it boring. How? The way the production slightly changes with each each verse and not to mention the buildup from verse, to prechorus (with harmonies), to chorus. And then the bridge????? i don't understand. It's only with the "boring" comments. If it's not your style, that's fine. But being a majority R&B fan, this hits, and grows with each listen.

Halle Bailey - "Angel"
Also, after a few more listens, the progression of this song is immaculate. Whoever produced this kinda has a Darkchild vibe; prouduction (very slightly) reminds me of Brandy's "Right Here". Even the video a bit.

Halle Bailey - "Angel"
While I do agree with a few sentiments here regarding this not being 1st single material, I still find the song pretty dope . The melody, production, lyrics, and, of course the VOICE. It’s gotten a few streams from me already, and I’m not stopping. I’m just very surprised this has a bridge, and now excited for this era.

Halle Bailey - "Angel"
I’m excited for this. I really, really hope it’s in the same vain as Potion.

Tori Kelly recovering after collapse and hospitalization
Why isn't this being talked about anywhere? The only notification I got, outside of looking for myself, was when it happened yesterday. So, I'm assuming, since there hasn't been any news then things haven't worsened.

FLO - '3 of Us'
Change reminds me so much of Neyo’s Sexy Love

FLO - '3 of Us'
I thought Control Freak would snap, but it's just okay to me.

Best Single of Kesha's Career?
I’m surprised seeing so many say “C’mon” well more than what I thought I’d see. I really hate how it tanked because I thought she song was infectious. Hated the video tho.

Victoria Monét f/ Lucky Daye - "Smoke"
Song is dope, but it needed a bridge!!
-
Various Artists - 'The Little Mermaid (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack)'
The one thing I didn’t care for is how the drums weren’t included in the end of the Reprise like in the trailer.

The biggest gospel song? Black ATRLers, get in!
I was never too familiar with Gospel songs on the charts, but in my opinion, Shackles was probably the biggest hit. Take me To the King is my favorite tho.

Miguel - “Give it To Me”
I'm not blown away, but it's cool.
-
Chlöe - 'In Pieces'
I wish Chloe would sit down, breath, and just chill. It's like she's everywhere, all the time, for no reason. I'm sick of her lol.

American Idol contestant slays Mariah's Emotions (finally)
Vonzell would’ve killed this back on American Idol s4.

SZA f/ Doja Cat - "Kill Bill (Remix)"
I miss the days when a remix was an entirely new song. This would've been LIT had SZA added some new ablibs with Doja having her verse be the bridge. Idk, something about this remix just screams bland. I will continue to listen to the original, lol.

Kelly Clarkson - "mine” & “me”
Kelly, talk your sh*t. I love Mine.
-
Dawn Richard - "Bubblegum"
I don't know, it had the potential to be fire but it sounds like all chorus or something. Idk, it doesn't really go anywhere for me.
-
Kelly Clarkson - "mine” & “me”
Both are dope. I love the gospel, ballad-esque vibe of Me. Love the lyrics also. The bridge of Mine, whewww. I wonder if this will be her comeback album.

Chlöe mocks the haters and her current music career trajectory
This actually makes me dislike her a bit. Lol.
