I wouldn't call the song catchy, but it has this sense of mystery and subtlety that really leaves you wanting more and more of it. Also, the video is SO captivating. Well yeah it's definitely a Gaga song, but Dua released songs like Physical and DSN which are crazy dance hits with similar levels of pop perfection. I can kinda see what he sees. I feel like she can still give us the level of energy she had for FN, idk exactly what's holding her back.

I mean, I think you're kinda overestimating the power of the church tbh. Not even old people gaf about it at some point here as well. Yeah its tradition and the culture is deeply ingrained in the italian mindset, but that's not what makes people negative on some things/outright homophobic. It's actually the ignorance and lack of perspective on the future, and yup that is definitely influenced by the overwhelming number of old people (often poorly alphabetized and closed minded) and the horrid job market/economy.
